We purchased 4 one-day tickets for the family through the "Be a Kid" discount(online through official Seaworld site). The "Be a Kid" option allows adults to buy a ticket at the kid rate....$53/ticket vs $64

After purchasing we discovered the "second day free" deal on a different area of the SW website. Does the "second day deal free" deal apply to our tickets ? I ask this because it never said anything about the 2nd day free while purchasing, confirming, printing, etc.

Yes, you do and it's more than just the second day free.

Exchange them at Guest Services inside the front gate.

when you exchange them you get the next six days free. :)

Is that still happening this year?
This is what the SW site says now when you click on 2nd day free details:

<<<<2nd Visit Free is valid for one additional visit to SeaWorld during regularly scheduled park hours for up to 13 consecutive days from the date of the first at no extra charge. Parking not included. Must exchange valid paid admission on first visit to receive 2nd Visit Free ticket. Non-Transferable. Offer subject to change without notice.>>>>>>

With DC purchase you get unlimited admission to SW for 7 days, not sure if that is still happening with regular SW admission tickets since the new year started.

Thanks for your resplies. I know all about the "2nd day free" deal and what it offers but my question asks; does it apply to the "Be a Kid Again" tickets(?).

Sometimes deals like the "2nd day free" cannot be combined with other discounts. I just don't want to get to the gate and they tell us "sorry you cannot combine that with the 2nd day free".

Amity says "when you exchange them you get the next six days free." Whaaaaaaaa ? 6 free days with a one-day ticket ????? I really doubt that. How would SW make any money ? Gotta feed the Shamu family...ya know?

We were just there in early Dec. and what Amity posted was true at the time, but that appears to have changed. It does now only say second day free.

Maybe it changed at the beginnign of 2007.

It works on all one-day admissions now, but they don't like to be too explicit about it because they would then lose the freedom to change the offer without notice. So you can probably plan on getting in a 2nd day unless something changes between now and your visit. (We got the 2nd day free with Be a Kid Again tickets in December)

Actually it was like Amity posted, six more days, and it was posted clearly in the "more info" part of the website. But we only used for two days.

The same thing was true for Busch Garden Tampa "Be a Kid Again" tickets as well. But once again, we only used for two.

I called Sea World this morning and spoke to a Customer Service representative. She said we would be able to come back a second day for free, even with the purchase of the Be a Kid Again offer. The Be a Kid Again tickets are good for one year from date of purchase.

Although isn't the 2nd free day to be used within 7 days of first use ?

Thanks
Daniel
