I finally got around to downloading the new operating system 4.0... but doing so erased EVERYTHING from my iPod!!! The 22 movies... the 900 songs... the photos... the Apps.
I tried to "restore from backup", (3 times actually..) and there is nothing on it. Is there any hope for me to restore it, or am I starting from scratch?
About half of my stuff is on an old computer that I still have but is not hooked up.
eta... iTunes did the automatic backup before I tried to install the OS.
