So I am taking her up on it. She knows i'm trying to lose weight too and she suggested you all were a great place to go.
I'm a 32 yo, single mom of a 3 year old. Which means I shouldn't still have some baby fat left!! lol!
I did ww in Oct. 2001 and lost about 20 lbs. Then i gained it all back. In February of this year I started counting calories (the old fashioned WW) and have lost what I gained. But now I'm stuck at that same place I was in 2002. So I started on Monday with counting my calories again. I want to be a size 6 or 120 lbs. My goal had been Oct. of this year for my college reunion, but that ain't happening I know. So I have 40 pounds left to reach my goal.
here's my plan:
200 calories for breakfast
400 calories for lunch
the rest for snacks and dinner. I'm trying to stick to between 1200 and 1500 calories a day.
I know I need to exercise but I'm a workaholic: Public school teacher, tds cm, Mary Kay consultant, pt grad student (until May 2004) and number one Mommy to Jarrod. So exercise is thrown out unless you count chasing my tail, jumping to conclusions, jumping on bandwagons, following the leader, and ...well you get the point.
So is there a WISH place for calorie counters?
thanks and thank you to kristy for suggesting this. This maybe just what the dr. ordered.
thanks,
tara
