DH and I will be celebrating our 25th Anniversary in October 2013. I need help on deciding which DVC Resort to book (when the time arrives!) :thumbsup2 Yes, I realize it's 2 years away, but I figure it's never too early to start planning! :lmao:

AKV is our home resort and I while I LOVE AKV, I'd like to surprise DH with a stay at one of the other resorts (we have never been to any others yet). Soooooo, which would you suggest I try to book for the anniversary celebration :lovestruc and why? :confused3

I'm sure we'd be happy at any of them, but want to hear from the "experts" here.

THANKS!!!

It alll depends on where you like to spend most of your time. I have to say that Bay Lake is by far the favorite DW and myself, but we like MK and Epcot quite a bit. For those that like the area of the Boardwalk, than obviously go with BWV or BCV. I'm not sure you can go wrong anywhere, I am sure you will be excited staying somewhere new anyways!!!

If you are planning to go during October, then I think the obvious choice would be one of the Epcot resorts -Beach Club or Boardwalk. You can take advantage of the Food and Wine Fest, and the ability to walk, or ride the boats (and avoid the bus) is a huge bonus. My husband and I have been down there twice during the month of October, and its absolutely perfect -warm weather, adult drinks, great food, and usually music by some group that was popular during our high school/college years!

Maybe DVC at the GF will be available by then.

DH and and I have spent our 25th and 30th at Victoria and Alberts, and plan to do the same for our 35th. Hope to be able to stay at a GF DVC then too, but we have until 2015 for them to get built. :)

My DH and I celebrated our 20th anniversary last year...we had a Nov. trip and stayed at BLT. We *love* BLT, but it worked for us in particular for this trip for two reasons: first, we did MVMCP, so we could walk right to MK and back. Second, we also *love* the Food and Wine festival, and it was great to just hop onto the Monorail and be there! We had a three night/four day trip, and didn't ride one bus! We also reallly enjoyed the Top of the World lounge at night. Very nice setting for a couple in the evenings: a drink, a snack, and holiday Wishes... :) I really think we couldn't have made a better choice. Good luck with your planning!

I would try BWV or BCV especially if its during Oct. and the food and wine festival. From those two resorts you can easily access Epcot and DHS. I think for a couples only trip during food and wine would be especially fun to be able to walk over into Epcot WS for dinner or snacks so easily. Its also so easy to get back to your resort after Illuminations or Fantasmic at night.
