.

The last time i was at the Radisson the room was facing the runway but was obscured by the terminal, you could still see planes once in sky though.Maybe another room would have a better view, not too sure though.
It is not a long walk at all from T3,a skyway with moving convayerbelt connects all terminals.
I think you would be better getting the train into Manchester, sure it would be easier as the station is in the airport.Dont know about cost though.Im sure if you went on the airport website they would have all the info you needed.

BTW The Radisson is one of the better hotels in the area.great way to start your holiday.

Im thinking to stay here next October before flying out to the Mouse =).

A few questions though =(

1) Do you have to pay more for a 'Runway view'/ Request in advance ?
2) As we are flying domestic first to get to Manchester, Is Terminal 3 a fair walk to the Radisson ?
3) Is there good train/busses to go to the centre of Manchester from the airport . . (For a bite to eat at night) . How much is a return ?

(I don't use buses where I live, Because its so tiny ! So I have no idea on fares really)

Thank you =).

We have stayed at the Radisson a few times and have never had to pay extra for a runway view - we have requested it in advance though.
We have flown into Manchester from Heathrow before and quite comfortably walked from T3 to the Radisson.
I had a quick look at the TRAINLINE website and it says that it will cost you between £3 and £6 from the airport to Manchester Piccadilly. They leave the airport every 5 minutes or so and take less than 20 minutes to get there.

I'm another Manchester Radisson fan. Like Kenny, I also phone to book and request a runway view. I always book the business class rooms. Have a look first at the difference between booking a standard room and booking a business one. Business comes with breakfast and is often about the same price as B&B for a standard. Because Business rooms are on the top floor, you will have no obstructions to your runway view. DD loves sitting and watching the planes.
