I am so done with TRU.
After successfully (I thought) using the code on Friday morning for a Star Wars Wii game, I received e:mail later that afternoon that it had been cancelled. Called Customer Service and lady told me don't worry, was a mistake and I my order would be re-instated. It would take 24-48 hours. So, by Monday, nothing. I call again and am told they will not fix my order. I will get another code. I politely explained my game was now sold out. She told me sorry, just pick another game, there are others to chose from. I said no my son specifically wants this one. She told me he wouldn't mind if I got another one??? Whatever. Anyway, I have used the e:mail me when available. What a joke. I have gotten probably 10 e:mails that it is back in stock only to find out it is instantly gone again.
I think they handled this situation very poorly. Why did they cancel some people's orders and allow others to go through? I think they have very poor customer service along with Paypal. Whichever company made the mistake should just toughen up and pay for it and in the future, not allow things to go out that are incorrect, etc. At my work, when we make a mistake, it falls on us not the customer.
