25% Discount if you book your room at WDW

We stayed at the Poly in early december for two weeks. Two days before we left we got this card. I kept the card for possible use in my scrapbook, it was really pretty! So, here is what it says, word for word!

You can get 25% off the non-discounted rate at one of our Disney resorts most nights between January 1, 2003 and December 31, 2003. SImply secure a reservation with a deposit before you check out. Call 407-939-7736 and ask for code (***) Hurry, because the number of rooms available at this discount is limited. Offer does not include campsights, suites, and 3 bedroom villas. Minimum 3 night stay required. Additional per adult charges apply if more than two adults per room. No group rates or other discounts apply.**

(I didn't put the code, since I thought that was forbidden here, and wouldn't work anyway.) So, I guess that the reason the code expired for the above poster is because she checked out of the Poly. It says it expires when you check out.
We didn't use the code, since as AP holders, we figured we could get a better discount than 25%. Now, if it had said 40%, then we probably would have used it.

Here is an update to what I found out while we were at WDW last week.

I called the DC last week telling her that a CM told me to wait to book my trip when we were at our resort. The CM at the DC told me the same thing that others on this thread are saying. She said this is an offer that is given out by the resort and that if they were still offering it, we would get something on our door with a code to use. She tried looking it up but said without the code, she couldn't do anything.

I went ahead and booked with the DC discount just to make sure we have a room for our June trip, but we have PAPs and am hoping they come out with those discounts since they are usually better than the DC ones. She did tell me to ask at the front desk while we were there and that maybe they would give me a code, but every time we went by, the lines were a mile long. I decided to forget it. I'm still hoping for the AP discount for June, but I know there is no guarantee they will have them.

DeeCeeSW, thanks for the info. We were there until 1/5 and no discount code was put on our door, so maybe it just depends on which resort you stay at.
