I purchased an Entertainment book through Mousesavers website in which you get a free $25 restaurant certificate. I got the email today with my code on it and went to the website, but there are only a few restaurants here to choose from. I have decided to use it in Orlando, but can't decide on which one to use. Has anyone done this recently? One of the places was Beef O'brady's. Here is the website, you can see which ones to choose from.
http://www.diningdough.com/listings.asp TIA!!

I asked earlier and was told Le Peep was good for breakfast... That is what I decided to go with since I have no clue to which restaurant is better than the other... hopes this helps... this is my first trip to orlando.

I chose the The Starlight Grill which is located in the Sheraton Studio City on International Drive (across from Wet 'n Wild). We are staying there for 5 days prior to our Disney trip (undecided on which hotel). Anywho, we stayed there last year for a couple days and ate in the restaurant. It was really good.

Thanks for posting that link I was wondering what restaurants would be included for that $25 GC. Turns out there are only 9 locally but 1 is nice, so we'll get it anyway.

If you participate in MyPoints you can get the same deal (book for $20 + shipping + $25 GC) and get 750 points.

HTH!

I went ahead and decided on Beef O'brady's. We all like wings and are not looking for a classy restaurant. Just one we can go to and feel comfortable taking our 6 year old to.

Okay, I have a dumb question. Is there a minimum purchase required with these certificates? I was thinking of purchasing another entertainment book, but I am not sure if it is worth it or not.

WEll if you get the book thorough Fat Wallet it turns out to be 10.00 AND you get the 25 cert. My son did it. You sign up for FW then they give you 5 in your account for new customer and 5 in your acount for the book. It is free shipping AND then you also get the 25 cert. You can get as many books as you want just sign up under different e mail addresses. The thing is the money goes to your account and then you get it in a couple of months. I guess there are certain websites that if you buy things and put it through fw you get a % back.

When can I buy a book that will be good for Jan 2007.
TIA

Each restaurant sets its own minimum. Some in my area have a $75 minimum purchase. Even with 3 kids we don't go to any restaurants where our purchase costs that much except for when we're at WDW, of course. :rotfl:

This website looks just like restaurant.com which regularly has discounts of 60% off for certificates.

Usually in late October or early November of the preceeding year. So that would be this Oct. or Nov. 2006. The coupons in the book usually expire 11/30, so the new ones are good beginning 12/1.

Thank you! I was pretty sure that was the case, but I figured I would ask anyway. :)

Restaurant.com is the same. My certificate printed out reading restaurant.com.
The one I chose has a $35 minimum, but when I mapquested it from our hotel it is a 40 minute drive. Oh well, we will get to sightsee some.

What is the entertainment book? Where do you get it? How much does it cost? Is it worth it? This is our first time to go and I am looking for ways to enjoy our vacation and save a little. Thanks.

An entertainment book is full of coupons and discounts. If you go to mousesavers.com, and link through there you can get a $25 gift certificate for a restaurant. You would want to put in your home zip code, so you can use the coupons year round. It has national coupons in it too. Mine was $23.49 and I needed the meal/movie ticket worth $20 and the $25 GC, I got my money back and more. Some cities are cheaper, but even on fatwallet, mine was $25.
