$25 Airtran Coupon Giveaway

I submitted my email, but never received the code. Too bad, I was going to see if I could call it in on a reservation I made just today. It wan't in my spam box either. Maybe there is a limit on the number of coupons issued:confused3?

Does anyone know if you book your AirTran by going through Kayak, do you still earn A+ credits?

Do you think since I've already booked October and December flights, if we can use the coupons on check in for luggage fees?:confused3

Has anyone used this for both ways on a roundtrip flight (ie. four coupon codes for two people and book outbound flights and return flights separately? Or this a one offer per person deal?

That's exactly how I booked our December trip for DH and me. I used $100 of coupons and booked one way to MCO and one way home.

Doubtful, but you can always try. I'm not sure how you would enter the coupon codes to pay for your luggage fees or for a business class upgrade. For those questions, I'd call Airtran and ask ahead of time so I wasn't surprised on the day I travel.

Thank you for posting this. I was going to fly into Ft. Lauderdale from Portland , Maine instead of miami for a cruise. Usually it's cheaper even with shuttle to go into Ft. Lauderdale but I got those coupons and went to the site and flights had dropped to $119 directly into Miami! Subtract the $25 dollars = $94, cheaper then Jetblue to fly into Ft. Lauderdale. I saved $50 plus an additional $60 for the shuttle!!!!!!! Thank you again.....

We gong to stay overnight in miami at the Beach. i have enough airmiles for a free night stay at any Best Western!!

I got a great bargain....Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Thank you!

Hello everyone! Last night I called AirTran and I will be getting my voucher for an upgrade. I did not have to rebook, I got my tickets about 2 months ago and really did not want to change since I only got my tickets each way for 48.50 So the lady checked with her boss and they have the voucher in my account (Plus I wrote it down) The lady just told me to call AirTran 24 hours before to check in and they will use it for an upgrade. I am so excited:cool1:I have never been in first class.
Also I want to let everyone know that when you get to your hotel at disney and if you are using Airtran to go back home you will need to call 407-284-1231 to prepay for your bag's to go back home. But if you call Airtran and upgrade you will not have to pay for a bag fee it is free.
I hope this helped everyone. Have a safe and wonderful trip.

Once I clicked "send" it appeared in my inbox immediately. The code also applies for one-way flights. I just tried this and it worked.:thumbsup2

We booked seperate one ways for each of two people. Four flights, four coupons. All done linking through Kayak to save the seat fee too. Worked out great, about $250 round trip for two people. Would have saved more had we taken an ealier direct flight that doesn't go through Atlanta. Extra fees on the Atlanta connection.

Thanks to the OP here and the budget board OP for posting about this deal. I just saved myself over $100! I had both my outbound and return flights purchased and paid for. I called earlier this week because they bumped the time of our outbound flight so we had only a 40 minute layover in Atlanta. I didn't want to try that one with three kids!! Airtran kindly bumped me to a direct flight leaving later in the morning and arriving in Orlando earlier than our original flight. Wow!

However our return flight switched times...though it wasn't a big deal...but when I read about this deal I decided to see if they would allow me to cancel my flight. They did! So I canceled my original flight, logged on to Kayak.com and rebooked saving myself $100 in vouchers and $24 in seat fees. WOW! Now our flight is $644/total for our family of 5 (one lap child) from MKE to MCO. I think this is a lot less than we paid when we went in 2006 and our outbound flight is on a Sunday.

Just called Airtran and you can use the discount to pay for bag fees at the counter as well. May help someone if Business Class is sold out on their flight.

This will save me as much as $75 dollars as I'm flying Airtran to pick up my niece in ATL THIS WEEK and then we head to MCO the next morning. How wonderful it was to find this post today! Thanks again to everyone on the DIS for sharing and making our vacation even more magical!

Seriously! WOW! That is GREAT news. I wasn't able to cancel my flight for our outbound flight so if I can use the discount for baggage that would be AWESOME! How does that work? Do I just print out the vouchers from my email and take them up with me? Thanks for sharing!!

I am sure the airport checkin agent is really going to know how to handle this . It may not be worth the trouble.

I think so. The agent on the phone checked with her supervisor and then said I could take it to the counter so that sounds right. I'll post how it went for us after our flights this week if that's helpful.

That would be great! I'd really appreciate it. We only plan to check two pieces of luggage so I'd only need to use two vouchers from Airtran. Personally, I do think it would be worth the trouble. Every dollar saved is an extra dollar my family can use having WDW fun!

First, I want to thank the OP for posting this!!

We are a group of 9 traveling out of 2 different airports Kansas City & Milwaukee. We saved $450 with this promotion!!

Tickets from KC $110/person RT
& from Milwaukee $130/person RT

That is great savings!

I am so excited I found this thread. We had already booked and I decided to do as a previous poster had done and use the code for seat assignments, it worked perfectly. I'm also excited about the possibility of using it for luggage fees. My question is, do you think you'd be able to use it if you do on-line check-in? I'm wondering if there would be a box to enter the code like there was when I did the seat assignments? I haven't done the on-line check in, so am hoping someone familiar with it will have some thoughts. Thanks!

I am so glad I saw this, I was able to save $100 so now my parking at the airport is covered :worship:
