I just finished doing web check-in with Westjet and got emergency row seats for all three legs of our flight.:cool1:

I called the Mastercard to let them know I'll be travelling so they don't put a hold on my CC like last time.

Confirmed online and printed out reservations for flights, car rental, hotels.

Packed(in our carry-on) our Annual passes for Disneyworld and Universal, our MP&PP tickets, as well as our passports for customs and the Richard Petty ride-a-long gift certificate I got for my girlfriend to do on her 30th B-Day

Printed 3 copies of my planning worksheet with ADR's, park days, and all travel info.

Have all ID/DL and I got travel insurance yesterday.

Packed 2plus weeks ago for warmer weather, but I'm going to add one more pair of pants.

Packed camera, Nintendo DS's(yes we are doing an adult only trip, but they can kill alot of time) cell phone charger.

We have enough US money, I hope.:confused3

Things left to do,

Take house keys to my brother, make photocopies of passports, take the kids to a movie and drop them off at the X's.

I've never felt more ready for a trip in my life. I am a Chef and usually don't get much time off before or after a trip. For this trip my restaurants owner said take a couple extra days off before leaving and relax before going to Disneyworld. So I've been off work since Friday and have got everything done, I hope.

Can anyone think of anything I'm forgetting.(besides how to spell)

Oh ya, one last thing, we are DVC members and are getting an Owners Locker to fill up with stuff like shampoo, lotions, Disney Parks things, and stuff we think having in FL already will make travelling easier. If you have any suggestions for our OL, I'd love to hear it.
In our suitcase for the OL we have a first aid kit, meds, flip flops, hats, swimming goggles for the kids(next trip), Disney poncho's, coffee filters, coffee, space bags, a duffle bag in case we buy to much stuff one trip, swimsuits, tide pen.
Things we are shopping for in Orlando for the OL, shampoo, gin, conditioner, body lotion, face lotion, sun screen, gin, sewing kit, corkscrew, cooler, paper cups and lids(for coffee), beach towels, blender, laundry supplies, and GIN!:woohoo:

Sounds like you have all bases covered!! Have a GREAT trip!!

I'm finally into single digits for our trip :cool1:  .... but it's not Disney this time! We thought we'd do something different for a change

..........and we're just glad we can help make your trip a bit more convenient.
Glad to have you on board as a new Member. Have a safe trip and a great vacation!

John

Hey Carol I'll keep an eye out for your lime green mickey's at the P&PP.

In true DISer style I'm surfing the net for the best deal on a car rental when I should be sleeping. :confused3 I had a rental starting tomorrow until March 9th(11 days) for $185US including all taxes and fees. Well guess what, Alamo just beat that rate by $28:cool1: :cool1: . The only problem is I don't have a printer at home right now and I can't print off the confirmation. I wrote down all the info and took a few pictures of the computer screen in case there is an issue.

To all of you going on vacation, I wish you a safe and happy trip, I''ll be back with a trip report ASAP,

Shayne

Alamo down another $6 this morning, so I got the car for 11 days for $151total! Ok I'm done, I think, we'll see.

See you on the 9th everyone.

You've probably already left, but if you check in, could you please post your Alamo codes. I'm looking for a last-minute rental for next week. Thanks! Have a great trip!
