It's a show in the UK following 24 hours in the Trauma Centre in Kings College Hospital, London, one of the busiest and most advanced hospitals in the world. It's amazing. As they say, you don't wake up thinking, I think I'll pop into hospital today. Anything can happen. But that's not what's truly amazing. What hits you the most is the kindness of the human spirit. Nurses, surgeons and doctors, all scrambling to care for people they've never met before. Love. Loss. And all a patient really wants is a friend, a relative, to be there, hold their hand and to tell them it's ok.
