I was eagerly anticipating an announcement when I woke up this morning, but noting. Last year they announced it the last Friday of February. Do you think they will still have it this year? I am one step ahead this year and have everything booked.

I was hoping for an announcement today as well. We extended our trip a day in anticipation for this event.

I wouldn't worry.............the 24 hour day has become way to popular and, dare I say "lucrative" for Disney. It'll happen............if you need to book........its usually happens around Memorial Day weekend. We did it in 2013 with the "Monstrous Summer" day. Got to MK by 6am and road SM 2X, SplashM 3X, and BTHM 2X all before 11am. Tons of fun. We bugged out in the afternoon and came back for the night parade and fireworks. They had some issues with crowd flow so we didn't get off of Main St because it was just to crowded. However, even with that I'd most definitely do it again. Unfortunately don't have a May trip in the plans for 2015 or 2016............maybe at Disneyland in 2017? Who knows
