I honestly have no clue...
Let's see... For both girls (dd9 and dd6)
I spent about 200 dollars at Justice on clothes and gifts for oldest and pajamas for youngest.
Between 100-150 at Target for toys for dd6.
3 cd's for dd9-45 dollars
Each girl getting a snuggie 30 dollars total
Clothes for youngest dd-about 50 dollars
Stocking stuffers- probably 25-30 each.
So for the girls combined probably close to 650 total.
Nephews and neices total combined (total of 5 - 3 nephews, 2 nieces) 65-70 dollars, but I got some amazing deals and sales for their gifts.
MIL and StepFIL- around 25 dollars combined (again, good sales)
FIL- 10 dollars (on sale)
DH grandpa- 15.00 (slippers)
My mom- 15.00 on sale
My dad- 15.00 on sale
Brother and his wife- 20.00 Combined gift (movie basket)
Dh best friend and his wife- 20.00 combined gift (movie basket)
My best friend- 15-20 bath set basket
Gift exchange at work (mine)- 20.00
Kids book exchange at school- 10 dollars total
DD6 gift exchange at Girl Scouts- 5.00
DD9 Cookie exchange at Girl Scouts- 5.00
Donated gifts to Toys for Tots- 50.00 total.
Oh and I got DH XM radio for his car- 150 total there,
and dh probably spent 50 on me (his was only more than mine, cause I chose to pay for a year of radio in advance)
So, all in all it looks like we spent over 1000 dollars this year. Most years I try to spend less than that, but it doesn't always work that way. I try to find the best deals and shop sales and start shopping early. This year was a little different, cause dd9 is no longer interested in toys, so what she wanted (clothing, and things from Justice) is a little more expensive than I usually buy for them. I used to be able to spend about 100-150 per child total on toys, but this year I spent double, and it seems like they aren't getting nearly the same amount of presents, but oh well. None of this was put on credit cards, so it is all good.
