People send letters to everyone on their list? We only send letters to the relatives that live across country, who don't have email, or aren't on Facebook. In other words, the ones we don't communicate with as much.

Why would you send a annual letter to people who are in touch with you? They just get cards.

I meant to add that there is one letter that makes us cringe every year. Its from my 62 yr old widowed aunt. Everything is doom & gloom with her. Illness this & illness that - even though she's not sick. According to her, she's always broke too. Not sure, but it even seems like a few of her children have distanced themselves from her. Looooong hand written letters too. Pages worth.

Wonder what this years will be about? H1N1 maybe?

I'm sure most of you are familiar with the type. She's always been this way, it just seems to get worse each year.
