23 Days...countdown! Happy/Sad

SO excited that we only have 23 days left until our family trip to WDW. The only thing getting me down is that in 30 days, the trip we have been looking forward to for so long will be over
When we bought into DVC about a year and a half ago, we immediately wnated to do this type of trip with our family. One "branch" can't join us, but there will be 11 of us in 2 THVs (3 kids 3 and under) and we are SO excited.
Anyone else get like this?

I guess I shouldn't be so sad since I have 2 summer trips planned and a short Thanksgiving trip too (Got to make use of those PAPs!)

I completely understand! We did a big family trip 2 years ago and I felt the same way. When we got home, we planned a dinner where we all looked at slideshows of each others trip pictures and watched a Disney movie. We even talked about when we will be able to make the next big family trip happen. We haven't been able to work it out yet, but it made me feel a little better.

I feel like that with every trip. We usually only go every year and a half so each trip is like new to me. So much planning and preparations and then after a week it's all over so I can really feel your pain. Congrats on all the trips you have planned for this year though. How cool is that? Have a great time and try not to think about that awful last day.

Know the feeling! One of the Disney "fans" I work with always says that anticipation of the upcoming trip is the best! You get so excited, are happy you are going. He also said that the worst feeling is getting on ME to go to the airport. So true!

That's the great thing about dvc...you can start planning another trip! Maybe just your immediate family this time.
