$23.00 to mail 2 postcards.....I think not!

I went to mail my international postcard today and the clerk said the computer said it would cost $23.00. I told her I think not, it is more like .80 cents. She said $23.00 seemed rather high, so she decided to call her supervisor......and of course I was right, .80 cents. I know this girl has only worked there for 5 months, but $23.00 to send an envelope.....lol.

I know the postal system likes to raise their rates, but that seems a little extreme! Now, if they want to charge $23.00 to mail a postcard, how much does it cost to mail a package?
