21st August 2011, Disney Dream

Ok, so now it's real...I have booked my flights...SWA just opened their August schedule and I got 119 each way from Providence. :thumbsup2 Sure I have flown for less, but still given the price of fuel, I didn't wait a day!
Last weekend, I found $78 each way from Philadelphia on Airtran. Even with the luggage fee round-trip, it's still a good $20 - 40 less than I've seen in a long time so I jumped on it for the same reason you did. Just another step closer to actual trip day:banana:

Well I checked my flights and found they are already up to $169 :scared1: Glad I got it when I did! :thumbsup2

I think I bought mine back in september, I usually wait for SW but I found Delta for 202 total per person from Logan, so I grabbed it, I am a good carry on packer anyway, so I am not worried about the bag fees. Besides Sara's clothes are still so small, I can get her week in a gallon size bag!

Sounds like some great fares.

I need to purchase air for the 9 of us! :scared1:
3 cabins 5 kids and 1 MIl.
All with Verandahs... :lmao:

so i am keeping a close eye on it!

Have found that sometimes, if you put in 4 instead of nine a lower rate will appear.
only 4 seats left at this rate.
take the 4 seats then I will ask them to honor it for all seats!
LOL

Still need to purchase Air for the May Alaska cruise. :thumbsup2

working on that now!.
should have taken care round end of month.

I have also noticed that Jet Blue has been having some great rates just about 2 weeks out.

My January 25th trip this year, was booked on Airtran, we had a 6 pm flight.
They moved to 3pm gave me the option of canceling, and i did after looking on jetblue.

They had a 6 AM flight that worked for us picking up an extra whole day in Florida.
for $79.00

Hi we are in Wakefield Ma. :)

OK thats enough of the pocket money airfares, I am too jealous:rotfl2:

Costing us 3 a total of $4,224 :sad2: better than last year though at $6,116.
Why wasn't Walt born in the UK, would have saved us a fortune.:goodvibes

Can I say that I am with you on this issue! :lmao: We are paying around $3000 to go now and a bit more than $4000 in the summer!

I almost added up including, resorts, tickets & cruise but stopped at the airfare, too scarey these days. Got quite a good deal for flights this month, paid $720pp but August has gone crazy.

Tell me about it! ;) I did add up what we spend for our summer vacation and I couldn't believe my eyes! :scared1:
Airfare from Europe (Lufthansa is the only one going out of our city and I bought my tickets way back when. They have constantly gone up in the meantime), 17 nights at Old Key West and 3 cruises! Boy, I can tell you - that mouse has its hand in my pocket BIG time!

Was almost tempted to purchase air just now!

9 people came to about 1900 non stop.

Just did not like the return time, getting the kids up for 8 am flight, when you know your on ME is hard!
5 am pick up. that is not how i want to end the trip!
airtran.

jetblue still has crazy prices.
they will come down.
I would rather use them.
but will use either one. :wizard:

Still working on get air for our return from the Alaska cruise in the middle of May. :rotfl2: waiting for that right deal to come along!
I know how much it is, Now.
;)

Hygiene99 not sure where you are in MA but I just booked my husbands flight out of Worcester on directair for $89.00 each way.

Hi everyone!!! I am trying to get the FE's all organized, my mom is coming up in a couple weeks to start seeing what we have accumulated together. Our plan WHICH BY NO MEANS has to be your FE plan, is to give individual gifts, so i went through those who are on the list already~~ and not to embarass ourselves I have a few questions for clarifying if its a male or female...not in any way meaning to offend anyone, i just dont want to give a male-ish gift to a female and vice versa~~
so heres my questions:

daipp: is Alex a girl or a boy and Bethen a girl or boy?
Sonnyeclipse: Is Colin a male or female?
Shelbecat: Sherry male or female? Bev male or female? Casey is female correct? (i think i remember talking about her since we will be neighbors)

I think thats it, AGAIN PLEASE PLEASE dont be offended i in no way mean to offend anyone, I just want to be gender specific, for the sake of the receiving end~`my mom is soooo excited about this trip shes goin crazy with gift ideas, so we are trying to stay ahead with a head count!!g

anyone else want to join the FE PLEASE DO!!! this does not have to be a expensive adventure by any means, even a handwritten note saying HEY will be exciting to get from the Fish!! Thanks WAYNE for keeping everything organized!!! CANT WAIT to see you all !! Its going to be a blast!!

Has anyone here been on the dream yet? August will be our first and my mom (64 yr old eeyore freak haha) first time on DCL...shes just a tad bit excited!!!

Happy Day my friends!!:banana::banana:
