I also noticed that free wifi is available inside EOS. :yay::yay::yay:

We then drove to Seaworld.

Once inside we headed for Manta (Video1) (Video2), since none of us had ridden this before. The wait time was showing 60 minutes but we were on the ride in less than 30 minutes. The passages leading to the ride have been well thought out with some well designed aquariums to keep the waiting crowds occupied.

The ride itself is something different due to the fact that you are suspended horizontal, face down. Emma was a little apprehensive when she saw how the riders are loaded!:scared1:. Too late - we were next to get on :rolleyes1The ride itself last just over 2 minutes and it does seem strange especially when you a travelling on tour back.

Today seemed hotter than any other so far, so we tended to go for the attractions under cover. These included the Sealion & Otter show (including mime artist), the Whale & Dolphin show and then Shamu. The Shamu show has lost a lot of its impact since the trainers are now no longer allowed in the water. We left Seaworld at around 3 p.m. and drove to Pop Century for a bite to eat in the food court. Then we headed back to OKW where Emma spent a few hours in the quiet pool whilst I typed up some more trippie under the shade of a parasol. :surfweb:

We had quite heavy rain for 15 minutes, when it finally stopped, it was still very overcast, so we made our way back to our room. An early night for us, since we had an ADR for breakfast with the mouse!

RETURN TO TRIP INDEX

I completely agree with you about the Shamu show not having as much impact as previous, I reported this in my trip report back in June aswell. I can understand why they're not in the water though, its just sad to see it all done from the sides.

Great day though, EoS is just great - we loved it! :thumbsup2

I think i'll try Mantra but i'm not sure I'll like it as I don't like Air at Alton Towers.

We love EOS, but have never tried it for breakfast - WPE always draws us away. Thanks for the tip about the free wifi, I'll definitely try that out on our next trip! :thumbsup2

Not done WPE yet, but will before we leave.
EOS free wifi...........I have been connecting using my iPhone....it takes a few seconds to find it.........EOS_Guest :thumbsup2

excellent photos of the ride. Gives a real idea of what we are misisng not going to Seaworld anymore!!!!
