2026 MMB info Announced

I was researching this a bit.

It seems like you can easily swap in OTUP for a 7-month reservation (modify and pick the contracts the points are drawn from).

But for home resort bookings at 11-7 months, you actually need to cancel and rebook with those OTUP with a risk that your booking gets taken by a waitlist if its not available at 7-months. This is true even if you call MS to help you do this.

Please someone correct me if I’m wrong.

You can not swap for a home resort booking. Your contract will be locked so it has to be used first.

But, it works if you hafe a 7 month booking! Or, if you can get the first or last night of your home resort at 7 months. Then you can swap.

I do this with my SSR points to free up RIV!

Can the memory maker benefit be used at Disneyland or at AulanI?
No, but as a new perk for 2026, you get one 8x10" photo at Aulani. I don't know exactly how it works yet, but we'll be there in Feb.

For those of us who have the photopass option on our WDW AP, the memory maker perk doesn't get us anything. Theoretically, I could transfer the perk to someone in my Friends & Family list, but I already download their pictures for them.

I've seen Photopass photographers at the resorts a few times, but it's been sporadic. . My son was an entertainment CM for about 10 years and was best friends with a number of characters during that time. He said that part of the training program is to take the new CMs to the resorts to practice their roles. Resorts allow the New CMs to practice with real guests but the number of guests is limited at the resorts which helps the CMs get comfortable without the chaos in the Parks. Less anxiety, more direct interaction, better ability to assess the CMs effort. My son said they do the same for Photopass Photographers. Take the newbies to the resorts to give them real world experience but with far less stress and chaos.

Don't know for sure, but I suspect that this is what people are experiencing. Operationally, it makes sense.

Questions on the 5 day weekday tickets you can purchase with MBB.
  1. Does the member have to purchase a ticket or can they just purchase for the family members? I have an AP already so not sure we can use this benefit.
  2. I know you can add park hopper or upgrade to an AP. Can you just add extra days to the ticket (and if so can those days include weekends)? I’d think not but someone from member services just told me you can, so I wanted to see if anyone had done this.
Thanks!

1 - You can purchase WDW tickets for "up to 7 guests in your traveling party" so buying for others you are vacationing with is fine.

2 - These are specially priced tickets. You can upgrade them to an AP (subject to blackouts), but you pay the difference of what you paid for the ticket and the AP, not what a 5-day ticket is selling for on the WDW website. I imagine you can add days, but it would be the same thing so it negates the point of buying a discounted ticket since you would have to pay the difference.

So I got MMB for 2026, I have two memberships. How many BOGO points can I get? Just the one for the year, one for each membership, or one for each use year and each membership?

You can buy a total of 12 one time use points and receive a total of 12 free one time use points for the MMB benefit season which runs on the calendar year. That can be split up however you would like amongst your memberships and UYs for the calendar year 2026.

If you have another member deeded on your memberships they can also purchase MMB and you could max each membership with 24 one time use points (12 with 12 free).

I do not believe these tickers can be upgraded to add days to them.

I think the only option is to convert to an AP…but the value will remain what was paid.
