I submitted my previous W&D half for the upcoming W&D half for POT. My age listed is incorrect (from my own error) on the results page - do you think that'll impact whether they accept it or not?

They won’t care. All that matters is that the POT is within the right finish range and timeframe.

Anyone know if you register after the POT deadline if you can still submit a POT? I've been staking terminal for any opening but neither the 10k or Half have reopened at any point (the challenge did briefly last week but I'm not interested in running both races that weekend)

I believe you can, yes. And if it doesn't work, you can probably talk to runner relations and explain that you registered after the deadline.

Yes, you absolutely can, the key is to have that info ready to go while you are signing up. Unlike the skipping it during the chaos of registration day, when you are registering after the cutoff date you only have that one opportunity to add your POT. If you register, then go back in it will be grayed out and you will be at the mercy of runner relations.

There’s a website, google TeamRunDis, that has a wonderful list of who still has bibs. I’d link but can’t remember if that’s allowed.

I’m staying at the Poly for W&D with two friends (DVC longhouse studio), can you walk to TTC to pick up the monorail to get to the half on Sunday or do you have to go to the Grand Ceremonial House? Also, does the monorail run through to the end of the afterparty or is it busses to get back once it’s over?

Any other tips & tricks for a rD weekend at the Poly would be much appreciated, I’m a RunDisney vet but this will be my first race weekend at the Polynesian

I’ve stayed at the Poly many times for races. Yes, you can (and should) walk to the TTC for race morning. It’s much quicker than taking the monorail all around Bay Lake. If memory serves me right, the skyliner and monorail do not run during the afterparty so you have to take the bus.

Important things to note about the Poly: (1) the monorail only runs for the half; (2) the fireworks at night are pretty loud, so bring some ear plugs if you’re looking to go to sleep at 8 or earlier; (3) the Poly hot tub is the hopping spot for runners soaking their bones after a race.

Just to add to the great response @Zutroy gave you, note that to take the monorail to the Half, you DO have to go through security coming from the walking path at TTC. They typically only have one lane open and it may be at the parking lot end. If you get there super early, you may also need to wait for them to open it.
