2025 Moonlight magic

If you like the rides, yes, in that everything is standby so you can ride more than once if you'd like. Or you can focus on particular ones that are hard to get during normal hours. The issue with Epcot is that the attractions are so far apart, much of your time is spent walking from one to another, so you need to have a plan before you start!
I'm happy that I got to experience EPCOT during MM earlier this year, and this is an excellent point. If riding Remy is on your list, it is a long distance from anything else; similar with Frozen, but it isn't quite as far away. World Showcase is shutdown and roped off between Norway & France, and I think that the only portion of World Showcase that is open is the rides (Remy, Frozen, 3 Caballeros -- I think).

And on the opposite side of the park from Remy, you do have a chance to do GotG multiple times, but expect each pass through to be at least 25-30 minutes with the line, the first preshow room, the second preshow room, the next line, and then finally the ride.

Later in the night at MM, I was able to do Frozen multiple times in a row as pretty much walk-ons.

Canada pavilion had little bear characters, believe last year's event

Was hoping MK might be a surprise offering as it was my favorite of them all. Sadly, the Mr had a work commitment that trip

Didn't expect to be blown away by the AK one last year. Nice surprise if into Characters, lots of rare ones & comparatively short lines

We miss them for scheduled trips by a couple of days this go round. Might book a bonus trip if I can get things to line up

Good luck to all who would like to attend:wizard:

About 15 months ago we were able to go to a HS one due to the kindness of another Dis member. We were booked on another member's points so we tried and failed the second go round. Was there a limit during the first round? Or did everyone with a resort reservation get it.

OP, thank you for posting. I saw the email, MOONLIGHT MAGIC 2025. And I didn't bother to open the email.

Hope we get to go in Dec.

Our trip dates happen to align! However, I am hoping to modify resorts at the 7-month mark. Would modifying resorts affect registration if I happen to get it?
It’s my understanding that it does not

I have the same question, do we know for 100% that if I have one 2 bedroom (8 max) and one 1 bedroom (5 max) booked under my membership for a MM date, I should be able to enter 13 people on the prebook if I have 13 guests listed under the reservations, even if neither owner is listed on the second room reservation (cant list an owner on the 1 bed since they have 5 already unless we moved one to our res)?
You will be able to register for the total number of people listed on your room reservations. For the most recent DHS MM event, we had two rooms booked using our points and I could register for the total number of people listed on both reservations.

Kids under 3 don’t need to be on the room reservation or accounted for when we register for MM, right?

I think we can make Epcot work! 😃
Before I try and convince my husband, is World Showcase/dining typically open for this? He likes to snack (and drink) around the world while we’re there.
The only after hours we’ve done is typhoon lagoon.
the showcase will be open till 9(usually)-we did MM in 2022 and were able to enter park at 6, so we went to showcase 1st, ate and drank, actually made a res at chef de france for 8:00, had an app and drinks then watched fireworks, then did rides after 9-mexico, norway and france will be open b/c of rides too

I'm already holding a reservation for the January date of DHS. It's been a few years since I was there for MM, but doesn't registration open like 60 days before the event?

For the DHS MM event this year on 8/27, early registration was on 8/1. For the other MM event this year, it was closer to 60 days.

We have direct benefits from our BLT points but have booked a reservation for July with resale points at BCV. Are we eligible for MM with this reservation?

So you think I am ok with 5 people in 3 rooms, all on my points? I can add everyone to my room with middle names if necessary.

You can register for a max of 5 even if you had less people listed on a room reservation. If you need more than 5, then you must have the appropriate number of people listed on one or more reservations using your points.

Perfect!!

1 out of 12 dates!! We'll be there for DHS on Jan 26th. So excited. We usually book Sun - Fri, but to optimize points; we booked Sat - Thurs this time. And it seems to have worked out for us.

It should be fine the only thing that I could think would cause a problem would be if you had two different use years which then gives you a different membership number.

I would just put in the membership # for the BLT contract.

They actually are two different UYs and Membership numbers. So I’m probably out of luck?
