2023 DHS Holiday Party & 2023 MVMCP Dates

Actually I’m not happy to see another upcharge event closing another park early to non party goers during the time I’ll be there, between the DHS parties (4 of our dates) and the MK parties (7 of our dates) that’s a lot of night time access cut short by the parties. It causes crowding in the parks that are open & crowding from the early 4 pm arrival of party goers joining the normal guests in the party park.
As much as I love the holiday decor I may need to rethink when I visit, too late for this year, but going forward.

Historically, DHS has only been open until 9pm in December and the event starts at 8:30, so it's only a 30-minute reduction in park time for the DHS events. Plus the mix-in for the DHS event doesn't start until 7, so there isn't a mass influx of people for several hours before the event starts.

I would like to do the HS party on Dec 11th but its our last night there. I don't think I would enjoy myself knowing I got a flight home early the next morning. Plus it's the first night for it so every single social media/you tubers looking for clicks to make themselves feel good will be there I'm assuming so prob alot harder to actually get tickets.

Did you mean November 11? If so, I agree with you.
If you misread and meant some day in December, I don't think the social media peeps would be that bad.

On the flip side, for me November 11th is our first day there. We're taking a red eye on 11/10 and getting in early on 11/11.

I know the first party will be busy and full of bloggers/YouTubers but I'm going to try to get tickets just to be able to say we went to the first ever event if it's something that ends up continuing. This is also our first trip as DVC members, so it'd be fun to make it memorable. We'll just make a point to set aside some afternoon nap/down time.
