Might be the wrong place, but anyone know when they usually open up reservations for next year? Trying for January

Normally room only reservations are available by now for January 2022, but I think they're holding off until they have a better idea of how 2021 goes.

ETA: I have no idea if RO are available or not, as that would involve calling. Packages probably won't be released until June/July of this year.

Traditionally, before COVID, you could reserve a room 499 days in advance. But packages and starting room rates don't drop until June for the upcoming calendar year. Right now, Disney hasn't reopened the 499 day bookings. Instead, all bookings open when the packages become available, so it may not be until this June.

But it's only speculation.

Correct. I called for a room-only reservation and was told to check back later this year.
