2022 What’s for lunch thread. I’m having chicken and waffles today.

Since I'm sitting at work eating lunch right now, I'll join in. Today I'm having hummus, slices of turkey lunch meat, Wheat Thins and mixed berries. Ho hum.

Turkey breast with Colby Jack cheese wrap (the wrap is a low carb spinach tortilla) and baby carrots (I eat those in place of any type of chip).

I had a conference call during my lunch time today, so I ate a yogurt before (so I wouldn't be starving on the call) and a piece of leftover pizza after.

All I had was 1 thin slice of deli Black Forest ham that I just rolled up and ate plain, nothing else.

My salad was quite good! It's got spinach, cherry tomatoes, beets, hard-boiled egg whites, cranberries, pine nuts, kalamata olives - oh and a little bit of bacon too if that helps.

Just some Kraft Caesar - plain, but tasty and it makes it a bit less healthy too!

Egg salad sandwich on low carb bread with lettuce, and a few Poppables. Pink lemonade to drink

Flavorless stuffed pepper soup. I almost didn't buy the green peppers due to how they looked but found 3 that were decent. No flavor at all and while looking at my blurry phone in the store without my reading glasses, I looked at only 1 recipe and the 15 ounce can of diced tomatoes that particular recipe called for wasn't enough.

(Some) Leftovers from last night's dinner - vegan carrot soup and french bread with flavored olive oil (since the soup didn't have any dairy or coconut milk - it was all veg and spice, so it was pretty much no fat - so, it was a good time for some flavored oil use).

I had a conference call during my lunch time today, so I ate a yogurt before (so I wouldn't be starving on the call) and a piece of leftover pizza after.

"Yogurt before/Pizza after" is the order that I would choose, because this allows one to be gassy after the conference call.

Not my lunchtime yet, but I am having a snack. A couple TBS of Trader Joe's chunky artichoke and jalapeño dip with some cut veggies.

Salad really does make me sad.

And days when I have salad for lunch, if DH asks me what I ate, I'll tell him, "I had a sad salad".
