2022 Candlelight Processional dining package

Where did you find September 29th date? I'm seeing only Oct. 6...
September 29 is when packages go on sale. Sorry for any confusion.

Edited to include: that’s what was on the WDW website when I grabbed it. Now it says October 6.

Can you book Candlelight packages regardless of when your 60 day window is? It's going to be just outside ours.

Nope. if you’re going, say December 10, you need to wait until October 10 (if that’s 60 days) to book. Or just wait until the day of, and book at Regal Eagle or Spice Road

Thanks for the edited note. When I got into work one of the daily emails I get had the narrator list and then had the comment that you could start booking the dining packages on September 29, but when I found the page on the WDW website, it said starting 10/6. Thought I was losing it for a moment. Do you know what time you can start booking the package on the 6th?

I am also following for all the details! We will be trying to get a Le Cellier reservation on 12/24 LOL Are these ADRs typically very hard to secure? I tried last year without any luck, but it was my first year.

Well, I’m glad something came out. We are pleased with narration as well as restaurants. Although, I remember last year, it was extremely hard to get something. I have already told my friends that we should try booking 2 and 3, not all 5 of us.

I don't know if any past experience can be relied on anymore, period. From what I read, last year CP dining packages were hard to secure, but I think I also read that they weren't released until end of October, which means that at the time they were released, everyone was within their 60 day windows, which I'm guessing made it a mad house. Now, there might be a rush for the first two weeks, but possibly a little less in the later parts of December as those people won't be able to book right away. With LeCellier at the highest price point, one would think it might be the last to sell out, but who knows, if demand exceeds inventory, everything will go.

Just so I’m clear. My package starts 12/12 and I want to do CP on 12/15. I will be able to book that CP package for 12/15 ON 10/12 when my 60 day window opens…..am I correct? It’s been a while since we’ve booked dining, we usually just wing things and eat on the fly. This is the only sit down meal I’m booking!

I was surprised they changed it after posting it. Not sure on the timing of booking. Wish it was clearly spelled out.

I assume so. My understanding is that the difference between an "On Property" guest vs off property is that on property can book at 60 days out +10. For regular dining reservations you shouldn't have an issue. I just don't know if CP follows the same rules. I would think that it would and you'd be able to book it at your 60 day window if you have a resort reservation in your MDE.

Actually I'm seeing (not on Disney site) 6:00am EST for online booking window and 7:00am EST for phone call in window. So early bird gets the worm, that would be a 5:00am wake up call for me, glad at least I'm not on west coast.

Wonder if it's like some of the other special reservations pre-covid... where the official time is 5 or 6 a.m. ET, but sometimes (for fun??? LOL) they drop the reservations in the middle of the night online at 1 or 2 a.m.? I can't remember what I was booking, but I definitely remember waiting up in the early morning hours checking repeatedly and messaging with folks on this board doing the same crazy thing... nutty, but I kind of think it's fun... so satisfying if it works. 🤣 :rolleyes1:santa:

Glad to see the narrators and participating restaurants have been released. We're going on Christmas Eve, so it'll be Marie Osmond. That's fine. I had a Donnie and Marie record player when I was little, LOL.
Going to go for Garden Grill lunch for our CP dining.

Thanks. I might try on October 6 and see what happens. We do have a package booked, so 60+10 works for me and I’ll do it on the 12th if I need too.

When you book a CP dining package do you get to pick which of the 3 show times you want?
