2019 Travel Dates

Anyone else finding themselves double checking the Adventures By Disney website daily (okay, multiple times a day) waiting for the 2019 dates to drop? Is it just me?

And this isn't even for Japan (although, I'm super interested in what the itinerary looks like).

I'm not sure if that means both booking and details are out next Weds; seems weird there wouldn't be a little more information prior to opening booking but what do I know?

We tried to get some clarification for the email, but no dice-- just a hint that we will get more details a day or two or three before May 9. Frustrating!! But I check a few times a day-- I would bet the one new trip will be the already announced Japan, with tweaks to other trips already existing. I did hear that ABD had a good year, so maybe they will go for more gusto and add another new destination. Hopefully everyone on these boards will share any insider info!!

They have in the past, but the email says "All Guests can begin booking on Wednesday, May 9". No mention of early booking.

They use similar wording with the cruise releases - all CAN book on May 9th but that doesn't mean SOME can't START earlier.

I just got an email advising I could book for 2019 on May 7 - 2 days before the general public. I’m guessing some of all of you got the same email!

The heading at the top of the email says "Adventures by Disney Insiders." We never signed up to be "Insiders," but we have gone on one ABD trip and have one booked for this July. I'm not sure if an Insider is just a prior traveler?

I just got an email from dvc. Apparently I can book Monday with them even though I’ve not done it before. Hadn’t seen it yet before my prior post.

Weird thing was that I was able to book on the Insiders day before general booking for my river cruise next year, and I have never traveled with ABD before. My TA got it in and there seemed to be no objection from ABD, but I was booking the Danube (and was desperate to get one of the two sets of connecting 3 person/2 person rooms), and the Seine that was the one that was in demand.

Do the dates typically book out fast? I'm looking at Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia or maybe Peru.

well I'm disappointed. Was hoping to go to Italy with my kids over spring break, but the trips during our break are all adults only. so I guess I don't need to worry about the booking window after all. I'm surprised about the timing and number of adult only trips on that itinerary. Seems weird to me to do it when kids are out of school . . . .they have 5 adults only trips spring of 2019

All the trips for 2019 are loaded on ABD. I am a little let down! Rockies and Japan are only new ones right?

So I saw that Platinum and Gold on DCL are also able to book early, which explains why I was able to book my river cruise on the ABD insiders day. It means more trips may price up on Day 1.
