Sorry. That stinks. We are in the same boat.
My Christmas budget became a little smaller when we found out a few weeks ago DD11 needs braces to the tune of $5500. My Dh is in the military and they will only pick up $1500. So it looks like we will cut back on Christmas some too.

C.Ann, you'll probably find that at least some of those will be out of network and will cost you more. The Anesthesiologist, Lab and Pathologist for the procedure were all out of network so it ended up costing me quite a bit extra.
