Has anyone experienced this lately? Still by the entrance to the park? When it says between 4-7, if it is happening, does it continue throughout that time?

CharacterPalooza is something specific to KennythePirate’s Character Locator, a yearly subscription service that’s only $10 a year. He updates the info on CharacterPalooza every week and there is also a chat room in his app that allows members to discuss where it ends up happening, who was there, etc. While I have posted pictures about our experiences, it’s pretty much understood that you do not discuss it outside of the chat room on the app. There’s a lot of work that goes into his app with updated times etc. I would never want to jeopardize that by posting that information publicly. Hahaha, wasn't looking for too many secret details, just basic recent observations. I hadn't seen any rules against discussing it

I don’t think there are rules against discussing it. But I think those that do know about it, subscribe to the service and therefore won’t discuss.

Here is what I will tell you. There are certain times it usually happens, times vary from week to week. Usually lasts about 15 minutes. A cast member won’t confirm it and if too many people ask, then it may not happen at all. Location also varies depending on what is happening in the park.

I am not a huge character person, but we do like seeing them. I subscribed specifically to learn about character palooza and that has been worth it. We’ve gone twice and had some amazing interactions with our son. He played with Mushu for about 10 minutes in October. I recommend the service/app to everyone

OP merely asked if others had experienced it lately. They didn't ask for the specific information KTP has on his website.

His site (that one must pay to access) is where the most specific information about it can be found on the Internet. I think, anyway. Aside from that, people only have vague ideas about where and when it occurs. But anyone can stumble upon it, or try to figure it out for themselves, and enjoy.
