3 goals in less than 4 minutes. And then Perry hits the game winner in 2ot.

Then the following game, Oilers score 5 in the first period alone. Then another within the first minute of the second period.

It has to be one of the greatest (or worst) comeback and then collapse in one team's history. Those poor Ducks. lol Now off to every Ducks fan's favorite part of the playoffs: GAME SEVEN.

Good luck Anaheim. You'll need it.

Wow!!!!! I did not see that coming. The Ottawa Senators will play in the Eastern Conf. finals. In a very shallow way, it makes me feel the slightest bit better about them bouncing the Bruins. Plus, with a 1st rd. exit, it means that the B's will HAVE to address the needs in the offseason.

And how about those series in the West? Shooting galleries.

I was so happy to see Ottawa move on.

I really don't care who wins between Washington and Pittsburgh..but I'd take the Caps because I can't staaaaand Crosby.

Obviously I'm pulling the Oilers. Having an all Canadian Final would be amazing and would drive Bettman crazy lol

I'm still rooting for an all Canada Cup Final.
1989 was the last time this has happened.
1993 was the last time a Canadian team won the Cup.

I am rooting for Edmonton more this playoff. This team IS the future.

Sad day for Rangers fans. I hope the address the issues in the off season. This has been going on for too long. As soon as Ottawa got the first goal last night it was pretty much known we weren't winning the game. I will never understand how these guy went into a decision game in the playoffs with no sense of urgency. The Senators rightfully won that game because the Rangers were pretty absent on the ice until midway through the game.

I wouldn't go that far..

Once the Jets get set with the right goalie, we're going gonna lethal.

Believe me, they are getting there, but Edmonton had the head start. They need to set the tone. Besides, Toronto has most of the potential talent. They are on pace to make a few runs come next season and on.

I cooked dinner for you.

UGH

I'm super happy that Ottawa is moving on, but now I'm going to have to watch Sydney Crysby for a whole series :crazy2:

Congrats on your Sens advancing. And I can't agree with you, enough in my equal despising of Crosby. He brought that injury on himself, by embellishing.

An OTT/EDM Cup Finals would've definitely put baby.... errr, I mean Bettman in the corner. For all his bluster after the Canada-less playoffs, how would he handle the financial/ratings implications: A) An all-Canada, Stanley Cup Finals, and B) Having the teams coming from smaller markets.

Me, since I don't have a dog in the fight, I'd've liked seeing an all-Canada Finals. The barns would be LOUD. But Gary would have a tough time finding American sponsors. But tis not to be. Now he has Disney, Crosby, Country and the Underdogs. Story lines galore.

Good luck to the final 4. I'll put a poll on the

I would just like to let you know that the Anaheim Ducks are not the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim anymore. Disney hasn't owned the Anaheim Ducks since 2005. GO DUCKS!!! :)

I still wish they would wear the throw back jerseys from time to time. They will always have the Might Ducks as part of their history.

There's apparently more Ducks fans on these boards than attend the games.

As much as I hate the Predators (jerseys sponsored by any number of mustard companies), I hope they crush the Ducks. Also hoping for a Sens upset and then hope they take the cup - regardless of who comes out of the West. Should it be a Preds/Pens final, I'll take Aaron Burr's advice from Hamilton and "hold your nose and close your eyes"...

If you are referring to looking up where I live then you are mistaken...again. I grew up in So Cal and recently moved away. I have been to way to many Ducks games than I can count, and several playoff games. I'm sorry you Canadians keep getting out of the playoffs. I'm sorry that my favorite team, the Anaheim Ducks, took two teams from Alberta, Canada already out of the playoffs. Now, lets enjoy the rest of the playoffs.

I would also like to point out that I'm the only Ducks fan I have seen on this thread, but I don't really read through it. I just post. :)

They came out with the Mighty Duck jerseys for the 20th anniversary season. Then, I think it was last year or two years ago, our 3rd jerseys became orange with the Mighty Ducks logo. So, we do wear the logo on occasion, but I haven't seen them wear it in the playoffs.

I would like to wish good luck to everyone who is still cheering for their teams. This is a great time for hockey as we are getting close to the Final. May the best team win. :)

Now that the Caps choked once again, does anything think no one will stop the Pens from winning it all?
Based on what I have watched, I think the Pens will make the Final. We never know in hockey though. The Sens are in the Eastern Conference Final for a reason, so the Pens shouldn't think it will be an easy win. If the Pens make the final, I think the teams in the west can take them on. I know the Ducks haven't played against the Pens well during the regular season the past several years, but we weren't at our best when we played them either. I think the Nashville/Anaheim series is going to be a great series to watch. I think it would be funny to see a 2007 Stanley Cup Final all over again (Ducks and Senators).

Totally agree on the Sens. Not many have been talking about them all season, and they were one of the more consistent teams this regular season. Probably one of the more balanced too. I was talking to a friend last night that said it was going to be Pens in 5. I'm not so sure, though.

I'd love to see a Nashville/Ottawa Final. It'll be different and likely exciting.

I have been to a few Ducks games and EVERY TIME there were more fans of the visiting team than Ducks fans. It was kinda pathetic. Oh sure - they are there now - probably jumped off the Kings bandwagon and drive down the 5. By the way, I am not Canadian.
