2017 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 31, 2017 - November 13, 2017

I just noticed that there is only one culinary demonstration scheduled Monday through Thursday at 2:30 PM. On Friday through Sunday, there are two demos scheduled, 12:15 PM & 2:30 PM.

There are two beverage seminars scheduled Monday through Thursday at 1:30 & 3:30 PM. On Friday through Sunday, there are three seminars scheduled, 1:30 PM, 3:30 PM & 5 PM.

Is the link to the demos going to be posted on page 1? I don't see it and don't think I'll be able to find it if it's buried in the middle of this 50 page thread....

Yes, the links will be posted on the 1st page of this thread, post #3, as soon the information is released by WDW. Like everyone else, I hope it's soon!

Has the list of special lunches been made available yet? If not, does anyone know when it will be?

Thanks!

Where did you find any info on the culinary demos? You mean that there are now only 6 a week instead of about 12-15?

I don't have any specific info, the times are on the WDW website. For the culinary demos, there would be a total of 10 per week, for the beverage seminars, there would be 17 per week.

Disney reduced the number of culinary demos last year from 3 to 2 per day and now to 1 per day with the exception of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Most of the culinary demos are now hosted by chefs from one of the WDW restaurants, if they went back to years past and had chefs from places other than WDW, maybe they would have better attendance.

The Disney Food Blog is reporting that early booking for the special events will begin on July 18 for Tables in Wonderland members, annual passholders, and residents of Golden Oak. Still no official word on DVC members or Chase Disney Visa Cardholders.

Does anyone know offhand if an AP Exchange Cert works for getting the early booking window?

Hmm if you check MDE, does it show that you have an AP? Also, what do you plan on booking? There are only certain events for which you would need to take advantage of early booking

What time does booking open? Hopefully, my AP or the Chase Visa will get me the early date.

So after looking over the menus, the following booths are in my "yes" column:
Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Cheese Studio, China, Chocolate Studio, Coastal Eats, France, Hawaii, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Scotland, Spain, and Wine & Dine.

Everything else is more or less evenly split into "maybe" and "no." (Some things I'm just not interested in, like beer or Indian food.)

A question around alcohol, and guessing not just at F&W but anywhere on site and Orlando generally - what ID is accepted and how likely is it to get asked for ID. (Asking after seeing the DL thread, where another kiwi was id'd every time, and needed her passport - is that a state thing, or will we need to carry our passports around with us? We aren't young enough to need to be asked, both in our 40s, lol).
I thought I would post an update on this because reading the info on this year's festival I saw the below posted. I am not sure if this has been the rule in previous years but is just not enforced? Anyway just for your info (I 100% will not take a passport into a park so I will have a photocopy just in case):
  • U.S. state driver’s license (includes U.S. territories*)
  • U.S. state ID (includes U.S. territories*)
  • U.S. military ID
  • Original passport
  • Copy of passport (either on paper or captured on a mobile device), along with a government-issued photo ID** that verifies the person and birth date shown on the copy
  • NEXUS card issued by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (Canadian Guests only)

Please note: Visitors from outside the United States are required to present both a valid passport and another form of government-issued photo identification from their country of origin.

For all questions concerning our identification requirements, please call (407) 939-6244. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call.

*U.S. territories include Puerto Rico, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa.

**Foreign driver’s licenses or ID cards are not acceptable by themselves.

Doesn't look like too much is going on the first weekend in November, which happens to be the race weekend. Do they typically add more events later?

Thanks for this list. It's the best I've seen all together. It's still very limited IMO for Saturday and Sunday. Friday is a bit better. Was hoping for PFTS, or a cheese event, beer event over the weekend.

Alright, got the food items added in. Will work on drinks later today. I've highlighted in purple items that seem to be new and in orange items that are returning but look heavily modified. Booth names in italic are new or returning after hiatus.

omg thank you for this! is there a way to print this out or export it to excel? I'm having troubles viewing it from my current computer, and would love to have It printed out or on excel.
