I need to start thinking about a costume. I'm hoping to find a sparkly running skirt online - I'd prefer one with shorts inside if possible. Any recommendations? Getting so excited!

Sparkle Skirts have shorts, as do customs from Sassy Sara. SportSkirts are another option as well as Running Skirts.

If you want a sequined skirt like Sparkle Athletic makes, it's pretty easy to find compression shorts that fit you best and work well with the sequin skirt overlay.

Now that you mention this...Has anyone worn a Flipbelt with a Sparkle Athletic skirt and experienced any issues with it moving around too much? I'm thinking of doing this, but I don't want it to bug me.

ME. I was so annoyed at the DLH that I ripped the belt off and handed it to my Mom spectating on Main Street. It would later come back to bite me because I had a total crash (my chews were in my belt) AND my headphones died (my backups were in there too). I don't blame the belt - I blame the Sparkle Athletic skirt.

I have a half-dozen SA skirts and I do love them, but I won't wear them in a race where I need to wear a belt.

That decides in then! I am very easily annoyed by things like that when I run. That's why I haven't done it yet.

Did anyone else get the email for the Princess weekend today? It looked like a shadow of Belle with a rose. A lot of people said it was going to be Snow White but now I am wondering which princess will be featured?

I've only ever used Galloway plans and it has prepared me just fine. I know a lot of people like Hal Higdon plans, but I have no experience with it.

I am using it now to prepare me for the half in January. I am seeing results and am happy with it so far! Good luck!

It's been very consistent with Belle in the marketing materials - but we won't know until the medals are released!

I didn't get an email? Did everyone else? Nevertheless, I am SO excited that it appears to be Belle!

I'm new to all of this but Belle makes the most sense to me! Besides all of the references so far, they're re-releasing the movie this fall/ new movie next spring. It seems like another way for them to hype up the new movie. There are 3 of us running and we're thinking about dressing like the bimbettes...I DO love Gaston.

Oh ya! That is a good point about the new movie coming out. Some people said that it may be Snow White b/c they were marketing Snow White last year at the Princess Weekend. I think it is the 80th birthday of Snow White in 2017. I am really hoping it is Belle as she is my favorite princess!

I see that it is your first Princess run! You will love it! Last year was my first and it was Ariel. It was so much fun! Great costume idea!

Last year the medals were released in January of this year .... but it took until 45 days before the Disneyland Half weekend to see those medals. So... your guess is as good as mine!

Some are releasing earlier and some later.

They just released Wine & Dine, but like @courtneybeth said, they pretty much do it when they feel like it. Before anyone asks, you'll likely be on your way to Florida by the time we see the shirts.

It's so true! Most of us will be at the Expo before we even see the shirts.... but that's part of the fun!

This year, Disney actually posted an official picture. I think I was at the airport. It honestly doesn't bother me at all, but man do people start wanting to know EARLY.
