Also, last night, Cam got hit in the head at least twice without a flag getting thrown. I'm not a Panthers fan, and I only gave them 1 confidence point in my office pool. But holy mackerel, did they get cheated yesterday!

Cheated? They were given a gift at 4th & 21 and still couldn't win.

One hit was definitely called but had an off setting penalty. But the hits must not have been too bad because if they were, Newton should have been on the sidelines being checkedout under the new concussion protocols. So you can't cry bad hit in the head foul but also say the hit wasn't bad enough to pull your QB. Obviously the Panthers thought the hits were fine.

But good news for Brady, there is a bigger pouter in town now.

I have always had two teams since I was little- Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos. I know it's strange, but that's just me. Seattle because most of my relatives live up in WA and Denver because- John Elway of course! I had a poster of him on my wall. And now I have his jersey I also have jackets, t-shirts and beanies for both teams. I get NFL shop e-mails daily. The last three years have been rough. First it was Seahawks vs Broncos in the Super Bowl. Yeah-my team won. Boo, my team lost. Then it was Seahawks vs. Patriots. That was a heartbreaker and I'll never forget it. Last year it was Broncos vs. Panthers. I was pacing the living room the entire game but my team won!! I need a break this year but of course I still want my teams to do well. I just can't relax when they're playing, it's nuts!

What a second half in last night's game: Panthers vs. Broncos. It felt strange not to see Peyton Manning in there leading his team. But it looks like the new kid is going to do okay.

Exactly. Wish the cities could buy the teams then everyone would be like Green Bay. No more of these crappy greedy owners trying to fleece the taxpayers for stadiums.

Unfortunately, I am a die-hard Detroit Lions fan. I know, sucks to be me. I've enjoyed having the past 35 weeks worth of Sundays free without spikes in my blood pressure, grey hairs, and extra anxiety, but, as usual, they played a nerve wracking game and managed to win in the final seconds. Every year I say I don't need this stress in my life, but I'll be back again next week yelling and swearing at them and keeping my fingers crossed that we can at least win more than we lose. Lofty goals! I really don't know why I do this to myself. I need therapy!
