Say free dining is through 12/1 with black out dates of 12/2-12-14 and we book our stay for 12/1-12/16 but our flights are delayed because of weather (Traveling from Wi in Dec makes me nervous) if we check in on 12/2 due to that would they still honor our free dining or would we arrive and have to scramble?

I hope they announce Thursday, but I'm leaning toward the 25th being the day. That won't stop me from checking Thursday morning though! I hope I'll have people to wait with again! Y'all were awesome!!

I'm sure that you would still have FD. You can always do a pre-online Check in before leaving for trip. I think the FD would start on the Day you are booked on so even if your plane is delayed you would still have FD.

If FD does come out the same day for DV card holders is there a separate phone line just for card holders that may be easier to get through to?

Asking for a friend since we already have a sweet deal through our travel agent...if FD does come out and POR is offered, do you think they will offer it for standard views or will it be for the upgraded views only (Garden View, River View, etc...).

I believe you just have to call the regular line. Earlier in this thread somebody listed 4 or 5 different numbers besides the standard 1407WDisney number to get into the call center.

I'm new to FD as I normally travel in January but have the opportunity to travel at the start of December this year. If I'm staying at ASMovies would I need to move or upgrade to take advantage of a FD offer? Also are you able to upgrade to other plans and pay the difference? ASMovies is usually never included so you would have to move to an eligible resort that is part of the promo. Yes, you can definitely pay to upgrade the plans.

If offer is for DV 1st the phones won't be as crazy as if it was released to GP at same time.

I booked POR as soon as it went live at 3am last year (4am eastern). Standard was not available so had to book garden. There are actually very few standard rooms at POR so they may have already been booked before the promo. I kept checking to see if I could get standard but nothing came up. So I would be prepared for the extra. It was roughly $15 more per night I think.

I get to bow out of this guys! I got a great deal through another TA and booked it and am cancelling my current reservation. It's just as good as the FD offer would be! So I'll be watching just cause this is exciting but I don't have to worry now

I think after much debate our room preferences in order, are;

Little Mermaid room at Art of Animation, (if by dumb luck it's offered, but not expecting it)
Pop Century, any
Coronado Springs (standard)
Caribbean Beach (standard)
Port Orleans (standard)
All Star Music or Sports (standard)
All Star Movies (standard)
All Stars (preferred)
Any moderate resort room that isn't standard

Our dates are also pretty flexible as we could travel any time in Sep, Oct, Nov, or Dec, minus the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas

What kind of deal--can you share? I have never gone with a TA.
