It's always so exciting when the rumors start to come about. I'm so glad I have the free dining BB for my package but I'll be stalking everything with y'all for my parents. It was a long night last year, staying up all night and refreshing the page...ill be doing it again this year. But exciting nonetheless!

Yes, you can have a MDE account with the same address. Both my mom and dad have a separate account. Yes to using the same credit card as well. I used my credit card for all 4 package reservations.

I did a practice run on booking before the anticipated date and just aborted before the payment phase. It helped me feel more confident since it was my first time booking online. I had always used a travel agent before but I wanted to do it myself this time since we were trying for FD. I also did not want to be at the mercy of the phone lines or dependent on a travel agent. I did not worry about linking the reservations until a week or so after the phone lines died down. I figured the most important thing was to get the rooms with FD. I knew that they could sort out the rest later.

Thanks! I'll be getting all my ducks in a row and doing a trial run tomorrow in case it drops this Thursday. If it waits until Monday - well, I'll be at Kalahari so I'll be doing some crazy quiet early morning panicking/booking in our room!! LOL

Personally, I think the 15th would be included based on the crowd levels that week. But I honestly believe the cut off would be the 18th or 19th at the latest.

I was thinking it would be more like november 9th - 17th myself. The 21st seems way too late because those people could easily stay through Thanksgiving.

Another ? for those who got up extra early and got online to book FD (like at 4am-ish) were you able to book what you wanted? Such as first choice? Or was it even limited selection that early on?

I'm looking back at my old emails from our trip last year and my confirmation email for free dining came in at 2:24 am (MDT)...so 4:24 EST. I refreshed, it wasn't there then refreshed again about two minutes later and it was there. So it went live around 4:20 am EST.

I got a standard at CBR with no problems whatsoever. Granted, CBR standard rooms were available for a few weeks after FD was released for my dates last year (9/6-9/13).

I didn't do FD last year but if I remember correctly there was limited availability the first day, but 7-14 days later there were many posts about a lot more rooms opening up.
