I would think those would have a better chance than 11/21.

Are we thinking that set of dates 15-21 are completely bogus because of the 21st, or is there possibly some hope for the 15th being included? Also, YOU ROCK!!!

Personally, I think the 15th would be included based on the crowd levels that week. But I honestly believe the cut off would be the 18th or 19th at the latest.

Thank-you so much for the reply! So I could make a new reservation for the same time frame and then cancel the old one? Something about that modify button makes me nervous! Our dates are flexible because we are driving from Canada with our 3 little ones. (I hope it's not a Griswold trip)

CandiceF, I feel your pain. We're planning a trip driving down from ON with our four. Nintendo and portable DVDs! Our dates are flexible, too. I'm now using these rumored dates to run scenarios at different resorts.

Two stupid questions from a WDW newb:
1) I take it I can only use our credits while we're residing at a Disney resort, right? So, even though we're doing a split stay with WBC, I can't use a leftover snack after we check out of FW, right? I feel I know the answer, but want t check in hopes I'm wrong. ;-) After all, they let us buy tickets for more days than our Disney resort stay. ;-)

2) Your FD plan is determined by where you stay (although you can pay to upgrade), right? So, Value AoA gets a QS plan, regular plan at Moderate Cabins at FW, and a Deluxe plan if we book at the Deluxe CR, right?

2 things I am pondering about...
1, historically when did any free dining for Canadians get released? was it after the general public release?
and 2, it sucks they never offer free dining the week of pop warner. They could just NOT offer it to the All Stars and Little Mermaids, and try and get people there for a fairly dead week crowd wise. ( just sending vibes out to the universe that I could use free dining that week)

Finally, I'm going to see the Mouse again after 3+ years! We're looking at the end of August (24-30). I am SO hoping for FD!! I'm on pins and needles, and am getting just as crazy as some of the rest of you!

1. Your credits are good until Midnight the day you check out.. So if you have any left over credits you need to use them by midnight of your check out date or they are forfeited.
2. No. Values get QS dining plan, both mods and deluxes get the regular plan.

Yikes good to know - I need to book 3 rooms. So I'll need to get someone in my party to do an MDE account? Can my husband do it with same home address? Can we still use the same card to put deposit on rooms? I am trying to avoid waiting to for phones to open, want to do it all online.

Yes, you can have a MDE account with the same address. Both my mom and dad have a separate account. Yes to using the same credit card as well. I used my credit card for all 4 package reservations.

I did a practice run on booking before the anticipated date and just aborted before the payment phase. It helped me feel more confident since it was my first time booking online. I had always used a travel agent before but I wanted to do it myself this time since we were trying for FD. I also did not want to be at the mercy of the phone lines or dependent on a travel agent. I did not worry about linking the reservations until a week or so after the phone lines died down. I figured the most important thing was to get the rooms with FD. I knew that they could sort out the rest later.

That's what I'm hoping for. Booked October 22 week. I bet it will. These are just rumors. Rumors normally wrong. But just in case. Talked to wife and we would be happy to change to 11/5 week if it has free dining. Just have to call and book real fast. Can't wait.

We also always bring lots of DVD's, games and snacks! Last time my DD5 starting asking "are we there yet" after the second hour of driving LOL!

1) You have until I believe midnight on your checkout day to use your snack credits. You could check out and still use your credits for the rest of that day even if you check into a new resort.
2) Values get the QS plan and Moderates get the standard dining plan, I am not sure what Deluxes get. You can pay to upgrade your plan.

I hope these dates aren't correct, since that means we'd have to go in September, and we already are closer than 180 days out, or we'd have to try for right after Thanksgiving, which would give us time to plan, but I'm not sure what DW's class schedule looks like yet, and she may have finals.

Last year there were extra fd dates for Canadians. We were there the 15-25 of August with free dining at POR

I am so hoping for earlier dates for Canadians.
