If you think it'll make you slower to do two at once on two computers, just do one at a time back to back. It's whatever you're comfortable with. They just can't be booked on the same reservation together.

October 2015 I booked the trip with room and tickets and on my first day I went to the Guest Services at the Magic Kingdom---it took a total of 10 minutes and I was an annual pass holder complete with card. The ticket on my package was not a park hopper. But it was a Florida resident package which from what I understand only discounts the room not the ticket---It may have been a 4 day ticket---not really sure at this point. I know that you do have to use at least one day to enter a park before you can convert it. I am not sure if they use the price I paid or the current price for the amount of tickets on your account.

Thank you so much for getting back to me on this. We did this years ago, but did not know if they still did it. I asked a CM and they told me that they did not do this. We want to upgrade to the Florida resident silver annual pass and this will help.

I had 2 rooms booked. Went to make free dining. Mine went through but went back to do parents and no availability. So our preferred resort opened and I did the 2devices at once. Then transferred it over to a TA and got years request for them to be adjoining. On the phone you can book 2 at once but not online.

I think what you're saying is if, today, I go to change my resort online to CSR and the button is not there, then I should call today day to change my resort instead of waiting for the phone lines to open Monday morning if free dining drops. And I right?

Having CSR now will have no impact on your ability to get free dining at that resort. No matter what you will either have to a) modify your reservation on Monday morning online or over the phone to a room that is in the free dining inventory OR b) make an entirely new reservation with a new deposit.

If you book a room at CSR now, it will not automatically become part of the inventory on Monday when the deal becomes live. I think the process to add the promotion is the same no matter what hotel you are booked at now since you will need to select a room that is part of that inventory. I wouldn't switch to CSR now.

Yeah, I just mean if someone would end up going slower trying to work doing it this way.

I could do it in a blink... my husband, on the other hand, is like a gorilla typing with one fat finger. Have him try to do 2 reservation at once and it'll take all day!

You can modify even if you don't have something being offered. If you didn't have hopper tickets you'd have to make them hoppers before you could complete the modification.

I think they are saying that you can book a whole new reservation and cancel the old one if the modify button is missing.

The thing is that if your modify button works then you can change your resort when free dining opens. There is no reason to do it ahead of time.

You should be able to modify the reservation to a different resort online as well. I guess you could try to modify to CSR now to see not that it should make a difference for Monday though.

Also, standard rooms were pretty limited for FD last year, so even if you switch to a standard CSR now you still won't necessarily be able to get it for that room category.

While my husband usually gets tired of me talking about it, the last week has been telling me the Disney site has been working for him and today he showed me dates he found. Lol.

Opinion. I have stayed at POR and would like to try CBR. Should I have CSR as a second choice or go back to POR?

A side note. I was on southwest 2 days ago and there were some good rates on the day I plan to come home (if I get my dates) so I booked. Today I checked ant they were up 30 a ticket. Do they follow these boards?!?!

Airlines fluctuate daily. Friday's are one of their most expensive days. Tuesday's are the best day to purchase and fly, I believe.

You can't apply two discounts to different portions of your stay. You'd have to break it up into two separate reservation, unless you just mean that the RO dates don't cover your whole stay? If that's the case it'll just auto apply it to the dates offered and rack rate for the dates not offered.

If you modify your reservation it will bump you to the new rates, yes. You're locked into that pricing for the trip you've booked - but changing it to add a discount voids your price hold.
