How is that possible? (I may be in the same situation and I was thinking I was just going to luck out on the free dining cause I couldn't buy tickets for each reservation)

Thanks!

Apparently you can access your tickets from a package up to 10 days early. It used to be 3 days. Tickets from a package do expire 14 days from first use though.

So say I'm going for two weeks...stay Room-only for 7 nights and FD for 7 nights...have 6 day tickets w/WP+....I can access those tickets at time of check-in on the Room-only? WDW is really ok with that? I guess you can't make FP+ reservations for the first week either then, huh?...if I have to wait to access the tickets?

Right. No fp's can be made for that first week ahead of time. And I don't believe the resort can access the tickets for you ahead of time. You'd have to go to guest services outside a park or at DS. But, yes I've heard it can be done and I'm planning on doing this for the first time this summer.

Where is the best place to see the Free Fall Dining offer when it comes out? I have seen where people say they logged in and found the offer. We have booked our resort with the dining plan in Sept. We asked the cast member what we needed to do if the free dining plan was offered and she said that we needed to just call. There would be no additional charges as long as we called prior to 30 days of our trip.

I was wondering about this as well. I know Jersey week was excluded last year, does anyone know if it was excluded other years?

Jersey week wasn't really excluded. I went from 10/30-11/9 last year. You just have to go on the last day of FD offer and it will carry through.

Waiting for the possible release as well!! Staying at Caribbean Beach Sept 29-Oct 4th! Bachelorette vacation with Mom and Sister!

This is not exactly true. If you wait until 30 days out to modify/change to free dining, it may no longer be available. There are a fixed number of rooms at the available resorts tied to free dining, and once they're gone, they're gone. You will want to call or go online as soon as you see the offer.

Thanks-that is what I gathered from some of the comments on this thread.

No FPs can be made ahead of time? Hmmm, we're staying our first two nights at VWL through a DVC rental and will then move to CBR for the remaining 9 nights on a MYW. At the moment I have CBR booked for all 11 nights (the VWL rental was a recent decision) to help out with the 180+10 ADRs. Are you saying that if I cancel the two first nights of my CBR MYW package, I won't be able to make FP+ reservations for those first two days?

This is tricky. If you were to cancel now, then no, you wouldn't be able to make fp's for those first two days because the tickets are attached to your CBR package. If you cancel after you've made your fp reservations at 60 days for those two days, I'm not sure what would happen. Maybe someone else will chime in on this. Do you have 10 day tickets?

Yes we have 10 day hopper with water park tickets. Hmm, interesting. We really only need the one day before we check in as we're planning on MNSSHP on our first night (if they ever release the dates!). Worse comes to worst, I'm sure we will be able to survive without FPs for one day!

Honestly, I stay up till midnight and make all my fp's at 60 days out, then I end up changing my fp's and parks day of without trouble, so I don't know why I bother. The only one you might need at 60 days is Seven Dwarves Mine Train.

Yeah, it would be nice to be able to keep them, but if I don't it's not the end of the world. As long as my ADRs stay I'll be happy. And even happier if I get free dining!

Unless you have booked a Bounce back offer--
It's best to wait to book, if people pre-book expecting for FD to come out, then it may not.
All of the Resorts will be booked and Disney will have NO need to offer FD.

Random question but for the bounceback offer do you have to pay the package in full when you get the offer on your current stay?? Or is it like online booking and put $200 down and make payments....? I was just curious as to how that worked.
