I love surprises, they add to the fun! Besides, I would be over the moon if someone woke me up and said, "we are going to Disney World right now!"

I just hope it doesnt turn sour and she wakes up grumpy like i have seen in some disney surprise videos ...but if she does im sure it will pass once she is fully awake

I bought my tickets already from undercover tourist i guess free dining is out for me. If it comes out for disney visa how will we know and do we have to call?

You can always get the FD package and just buy two day tickets and save them for another time.

So, if it were coming out tomorrow, would we know by now? I feel like last year we knew the weekend prior to the Monday that it came out. I am really hoping that it does not come out tomorrow (sorry!) because it's a day I can't get off work, and I have a lot of reservations to work on.

I've wondered the same thing! But I do want it to come out tomorrow

I can't wait till my son gets to that age where I can surprise him! (Only 2 now)I just hope I don't blow it by accident

I start talking and my husbands eyes glaze over. I have no idea why! I then go find one of my kids and if that doesn't work I call my mom and she doesn't even like Disney! She keeps thinking once the kids are gone I won't go.....what's wrong with her!
So happy to find people I can relate to and prove I'm not crazy!

I am reading these posts about obsessive planner wives to my husband and both lol mostly because we do all of them. The funny thing is that our kids are grown and it is just the two of us going now, so it does not end DH knows he just has to talk Disney to make me happy. We go every year the last week in September and I just plan the trip and he goes along.

I highly doubt tomorrow.

I do want to take the opportunity and remind everyone to have flexibility. Have secondary dates and resorts ready as you wait for an agent. Better yet, try to modify online. The holds are terrible and I suspect some of the delay is caused by indecision. If you are traveling and have multiple rooms, talk to your travel companions. Have a plan. If you are using a travel agent, empower them with choices. Nothing more frustrating than waiting hours to modify, then not being able to confirm any changes.

Take a look at availability at your resort. If there is slim pickings at full price, bet there will be little availability for a discount.

That is excellent advice for those who can be flexible! We are open to any moderate resort but dates aren't flexible

I have a question about the tickets. Years ago we went and stayed at POP during free dining, at that time you only had to get a one day ticket. We were able to at that time to go to DTD and up grade our ticket to a 3 day Florida resident ticket. Do they still allow this? We would like to book with a 2 day park hopper and upgrade to a 4 day park hopper Florida resident ticket. If anyone can answer this I would really appreciate it. Thanks everyone. Getting so excited!

I'm here! I'm ready to join in the madness if Steve gives us some information today. I am very appreciate of everyone's hard work to give us a heads up on this kind of stuff. I have a DH who semi joins in on the planning. He mostly lets me do what I want but he will give some feedback when I bring it up or sometimes he will bring up a restaurant he wants to go back to etc. Mostly though he gets impatient when I want to talk Disney ALL THE TIME!

When you say open them? Like just to look at them to verify? Because the first time they sent the wrong ones so we opened them to see if they were correct.

Also, does anyone know when they film the Thanksgiving parade and how you get tickets/admission for the filming?? Thanks so much!!

I think the first ten days in December are excluded because it falls during Pop Warner week.

Are you referring to the taping of the Christmas parade? This date varies and typically is not announced until the Fall. If they are are taping this during your stay I do not think there is any additional admission.

I can hardly control my excitement! I just want to know if I have free dining already!!! We had it in November of 2014 and it was simply magical not worrying about budgeting for food and snacks! It makes for such a relaxing planning process! We are booked at CBR for Nov 27-Dec 2nd. I'm very open to two rooms at music or pop though!!!

21st April is release date for UK (2017)

Thanks very much. It would seem logical that there would be little chance of a DV release on this day.
