2016 - a year of "no trips" TR - DL/USO/WDW/DCL - USO with kids

10/17 continued

As we left Springfield, DH, ODS and I rode MIB. ODS and I liked it, but DH felt sick after, probably because it was too soon after the Simpson's Ride.

Then we headed toward Diagon Alley as we wanted ice cream and chocolate frogs, but we decided it was too crowded with the stroller and that the frogs would probably melt so we kept on going.

Had to stop by Jaws for DH's dad. Papa is a big movie buff and Jaws is a favorite of his.

ODS and I rode Transformers as we headed out of the park, ODS liked it but it was a bit much for me. As we passed the Shrek area the characters were out meeting but when we got in line they told us they were about to close up, but DD was happy just to see them and have her picture taken near them.

It started pouring shortly after that and the kids enjoyed their ponchos.

Time for a late lunch, it's 5 o'clock somewhere right!?! We had a slight wait to be seated at Margaritaville. The staff seemed flustered; their computer systems may have just crashed. This wasn’t our best dining experience but it was still fun.

I don’t remember what DH had and DD and YDS shared more mac & cheese. After lunch we all shared a Chocolate Hurricane, but it was way too much.

After lunch ODS picked a stuffed parrot as his souvenir in the gift shop and we walked back to IoA.
