This doesn't seem new and revolutionary, but how about 7 resorts in 7 weeks?
They could stay 5-6 days at a resort, then have a day to sleep in their own beds before heading out to the next resort.
It would give them an opportunity to give a much more detailed assessment of each resort (maybe even try out multiple room categories in each resort) and hopefully not exhaust them as much as doing it all in 7 days.
