2015 Villain’s Sinister Soiree

I loved the Fireworks viewing area that was roped off. I would gladly pay extra for that alone.

It will be interesting to see what they do with the FP fireworks area during the hard ticket parties this year. Will they just open them to all since everyone already paid a premium to be there that night. That just doesn't seem very consistent with how Disney has been operating lately. But FP is not available during the party. And I can't see them leaving those sections empty.

I don't think FP+ will be available for after 4pm on hard ticket events. I may be wrong about that. I don't believe it was last year though. I know the extra expense if costly to families but it is just DH and myself so it is not much for us. The only thing bad about last year's event was the RAIN !! it rained all 7 days of our vacation. We still had a good time though :)

The desserts were okay to me, but I enjoyed the cheese board best. I gave my souvenir mug away and the glowing light thingy. I am not much on those things anyway. But if you factor in the cost of the "take aways" (glowing cube, autograph card, candy, souvenir mug, and access to character without having to wait in line, fireworks viewing with Goofy candy company lollipops, Magic Shots photographer and souvenir lanyard) then the extra cost is not that much really. jmo

I love doing this last year. Went as Queen of Hearts and had a blast even though I was by myself. Loved the roped off Viewing for parade and fireworks. So nice not be be packed like sardines (especially me in my hoop skirt!)
This year, DH is coming with me to WDW early October and has no interest in MNSSHP or VSS, so I will save my money and hope that Disney does something in 2016.

I don't think FP will be available for the FP viewing sections either.

That just begs the question of what WILL they do with that space during the party.

FP+ is available through park closing which is 7PM on Party nights. The same goes with ADR's.

As far as the premium sections for fireworks viewing my guess is there will be none unless there is a Soiree and then those that paid to go to the Soiree will have the premium view for Fireworks.

So my question remains: If there is no Soiree, will they make those sections of prime viewing space open to the general party going public?

I would Guess yes that they would make them available because last year at the Christmas Party there was no premium event an there were no roped off premium viewing areas that I saw

But last year the premium areas were temporary, only demarcated by ropes that were put up temporarily. Now, the Wishes viewing area is permanently fenced off, which is why mom2rtk is asking (I assume).

Last year they had not yet finished off the reserved viewing area. It's possible they'll just open it to all. I am just curious is all.

::yes::

Wasn't the viewing spot used for both parade and fireworks last year? This new fireworks viewing areas really don't even work for parade viewing any more.

I'd pay more than I paid last year to do the event again. I don't think we will see the same event this year though.

Purely speculation on my part, but I'd bet that rather than CRT, there is a dessert party on the Tomorrowland Terrace, with no characters, and premium parade and fireworks viewing. I'll still pay $100pp, no matter what they do, as long as I still get the roped off area for parade viewing.

Just called Disney dining and the CM said there are current no scheduled events going on inside the mnsshp, she asked
A supervisor and she came back and sAid
There is nothing this year???? Take as u will... We can call again and get a third
answer lol.

I would buy tickets for this.....
