2015 Villain’s Sinister Soiree

It just sounds like the CMs are confusing the Soiree with the Castle Show that the Villains do out in front of the castle. Easy mistake. It'll probably still happen as it seemed successful and popular last year. Fingers Crossed!

Do you remember what number you call for this? I am glad you had no problems getting the date you wanted. I am sure it had to make you nervous on hold for so long.

I'm more nervous for this year. Last year I called at 9am on the day that it was, (quietly), announced. I only found out about it because I happened to check the Dis around 8am in the morning, and there were maybe 5 replies to the thread someone made saying they had booked it. It wasn't advertised at all. This year, people will be stalking like hawks for a release date, seeing as so many people got shut out last year. I think I called the recreation line.

Yes from a phone CM (so I know oh so reliable) She told me this would be open Aug 17 and that Minnies Holiday and Dine would open before that-this was early July.

I know it wouldn't be good for people with little kids, but I'd love it if they did a kind of "after party" with the villains. That way they don't get taken out of the party for regular ticket holders, and I don't use any party time. It would be epically awesome if it involved The Haunted Mansion in some way. I'm so excited for details!!! I really hope they plan something!

I talked to a CL BWI CM today and was told that the CM's have been told that there is a party happening this year, but Disney has not released the times, dates or costs yet. They have my CC on file and said that they would book my party for me once the info is released.

I am nervous about that, so I will keep my eye on this thread and make sure I get booked

I also hate that this was/is an add-on on top of the party ticket. I kind of wish this was it's own separate thing, not happening at MK during MNSSHP... perhaps at one of the resorts or one of the other parks. I'd definitely pay to do two separate events, but not one on top of the other.

At least the "party within a party" concept gives Disney discernable limits. It tried the whole Villains party as a separate event at DHS and failed, miserably.
