2015 Villain’s Sinister Soiree

I would assume (again, assuming so take that FWIW), that if they do a Hallowishes Dessert Party, it would include the FP viewing areas for the parade and Hallowishes along with the Tommorowland Terrace simply to get as much people (read: money) as possible for this event. And that way the FP viewing areas won't be empty and they can accommodate the most amount of people possible. Just a thought....
I think so too. It will probably be like the feel the force pkgs for SWW.

I would be THRILLED if this dessert party is really what they end up doing. We didn't go to MNSSHP last year (changed our normal October trip to December so we could go to MVMCP instead) but I was upset at the characters that were removed from MNSSHP in favor of the Soiree. I didn't object to the Soiree per se, but making it so that some characters went from meetable to not meetable, especially after announcing that some of the villains would be appearing with their princesses, was really, really crappy. The Soiree looked like fun and had we gone during MNSSHP season I would have paid to go, but it should have been offered without decreasing the offerings to MNSSHP holders. That was my whole rub with the Soiree...it was just handled so, so poorly last year.

Anyway, dessert parties without characters are nothing I'm interested in, so I hope that's where they go this year, and do decide to have the princesses meet with their villains during the regular party because that would be AWESOME. I'd probably even be willing to change our schedule yet again to add a second party to our agenda.

That would be PERFECT..and the pricing ($69 per adult, $39 per child) of the Feel the Force Premium package seems about right, too. The only thing that might be different is the feel the force included seating at a Celebrity panel. Maybe they could do a sort of "single FP" to a meet and greet sort of thing at the party. I don't know....

They likely won't. If the rumors are true, I'd expect that the party opens for booking at 7 AM on Monday, and, at sometime between 10 AM and 1 PM, there will be a Disney Blogs post that pops up with more details.

The CMs might have details if you call..but they might not.

That's been true of most of their offerings of this type. Occasionally, you'll get a "forewarning post"...but given the proximity to expected announcement date...I don't think this is one of those times.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. The soirée was so much fun. I've done the wishes dessert party once before I felt that was just so-so. I'm not sure how I feel about taking time out of a special ticket event for just desserts. I can buy desserts anywhere at Disney world. I also remember the long check in line for the wishes dessert party, it took awhile also. So I'm not sure about taking an hour or more out of my character/ride time for just desserts. Does anyone think there be anything different offered?

OK so we have a date, sort of... now WHERE ARE THE DETAILS?! Sheesh! $5 says that this will be _nonrefundable_ too if you decide you don't want to do it once you actually know what you are getting. :badpc:

I was really surprised that it was refundable until midnight the night before last year as regular dining reservations are. The 'new' regular Wishes Dessert party has a 5 day cancellation policy. With Food and Wine events non-refundable I wouldn't be surprised if they changed to non-refundable this year.

Ack! How in the world are we supposed to know if we want to book without the details? I don't want to book if it's just the "dessert party" and a spot in the FP+ Fireworks area. I could not see the benefit really. I'd need more for this to be worth it. I'd like to see reserved parade spot, fireworks spot, dessert party with at least one very rare character photo op. I need it to justify taking that prime party time away.

I'd rather no desserts and less $... we're all trick or treating anyway! I'm covered!

If it is simply a Hallowishes dessert party, no reserved parade/castle show viewing, then I will be terribly disappointed and will not participate. There are better spots from which to view fireworks and, quite frankly, the desserts aren't worth the price at the regular dessert party.

Where do you like watching from? Don't worry I think we are at different parties! ;)

I too would be very disappointed if it was just a regular Tomorrowland Terrace dessert party. I LOVED the Soiree last year. To me it was really a soiree/gala, and not just a party. At least one of the desserts weren't to my taste, but I could appreciate the artistry involved. They weren't just regular blah desserts available anywhere. I'll say it again. I would love an after party with the villains. That would allow the villains to stay available in MNSSHP and do the special ticketed event. They could even do it in Be Our Guest to allow for increased attendance.

We are going to the Nov 1 party. I expect it to be rather busy. DH really doesn't have patience to wait for long for parades/fireworks. We don't really need to ride much during the party as we have another 10 days but it is their first park time this trip (they will have been at the DLR party a couple of nights before) I hate the idea of booking before I is clear what it is but also don't want to miss out by waiting.....

i do hope they have their information straight on the details on monday. i'm planning to call in to get the info & book it IF it includes M&G of special characters.
trying to learn a lesson from booking EF&WF stuff.

I would guess phone only....the force packages were for sww. But its just a guess.
