2015 Rate Watch

Spoke to my TA yesterday, taking her comments with a grain of salt considering the dates everyone else has come back with, but she said in the next week or two for rate release.. Again, not reading too much into it tho! Hopejng for soon! Thankfully I'm not going till dec 2015 so I've got some time. Just hope all the Xmas stuff sticks around for next year!

I'm booking no matter the price and then will stalk for eventual promotions. Historically there's always been one for my time frame that's released early in the new year. Love seeing the $$ go down after booking full price then popping a discount in

We are anxiously waiting too!! Our TA said it could be late July early August before we are able to book our May 2015 trip! My fingers are crossed that it will be sooner, I can't wait to get the trip planned!

I am eagerly awaiting the prices. I was hoping they would have been released this past week. We have planned a Disney Cruise for April 2015 and we plan to go to DW after our cruise. Everything else is booked (cruise and airfare) now we are just waiting for DW prices/packages to be released.

Same deal as you. Cruise booked end of March, flights booked adding a few days at WDW and just waiting to book!!! I keep checking every day......

I can not wait to make reservations. Just got back from Vegas early this morning and it is NOT Disney. I know we will be there 9/19-9/24/15 at the BC, just not sure about doing the dining plan or not. We are staying club level.

Now my husband keeps asking me about it, which is rare because he is NOT a planner. He's using code, so that the kids (who know we are planning to go next year but don't need to get all riled up quite yet) don't pick up on it. "Has the mouse opened the door?"

I've talked my SO into coming with us this time. We agreed to come to the table with 3 top resorts each and figure out the cheapest.. I had made the mistake of telling him my dream would be the savannah view at AKL and he's like well lets do that, and I told him based on December rates for this year it's over 3,000$ difference between POR rates for 3 of us and AKL savannah view rates, I was like and that's why we're not staying there! My choice this time is POR so I'm interested to see what his is. He thinks I'm nuts planning this far out but he's starting to get excited with the prospect. I was gonna do the DDP for just my son and I, but since he's now coming with us I did my calculations and it's too much money were loosing to do it now. Quick question - does anyone know how easy it is to remove a guest from ur reservation a few months after u make it? Last time we went his ex wouldn't give him the 2 weekends off from his daughter to go with us, and refused to let his daughter coke with us as well. She claimed we gave her no notice (told her in September for January).. So I'm hoping if he has to back out a few months before we go how easy it would be to take him off. Thanx

We've now booked seven days of ADRs, beginning January 4, but no resort! We've been able to get all the ADRs on our list by booking each day at a time, and without the 180+10, so all is well in that regard.

Since we only need room-only reservations, I did try to call a couple times. I posted earlier after my first call, when the CM insisted she could not book for us because we're participating in marathon weekend, and would need to transfer us to "sports." The second time, the CM said my profile is not in their system (funny, since we have APs and given the frequency of our visits to WDW and DL.) She said she would have to create a new profile for me and then we'd work on linking it to my existing MDE account. Didn't think that sounded good. The best part of that call was when the CM reported the rates would be up online "any day now . . . " Will wait . . .

How has it worked in the past? Have the rates just been put up overnight and you get to wake up and call out of work so you can book and plan?

In the past we have had a heads up that it is coming. Usually only a day or two at the most I think. Disney a couple of times has even put a message up on their webpage saying when they were going to do release them. I know for 2013 they did.

This tells me it may not be as close as we all hope for!
