Nothing new at CBR for Oct 2-9...

No luck for me either. It doesn't really look like anything was released does it? I'm looking for any Mod. at a lower rate than Pirate water view for my dates. A CM told me today that when FD package holds were released or folks canceled their reservations that wouldn't necessarily mean that they would go back into FD inventory. He said they would just go back into the regular inventory. I was really hoping he was wrong. . . Has anyone else heard this?

Same thing here -- have been searching off-and-on all day, and frequently tonight (especially around and after 10PM) and there has been virtually no change in availability for my dates.

From what I understand, it does not automatically go back into FD inventory, but there was speculation that Disney would release more rooms after a lot of the other things were canceled. I've been checking and now there are no hotels at all listed for my dates with FD (45 minutes ago, all of the deluxe resorts had availability) . . . possibly updating the system? . . .

Still no POR available for Sept. 30-Oct. 8th. It doesn't look like any of the availability has changed. Wouldn't it be nice to be alerted by Disney when FD became available in your desired resort, so you didn't have to stalk the Disney website all day? Haha...wishful thinking!

I got a preferred room at Caribbean Beach EARLY this morning for 11/14-11/20! I had to shave a day off the front and the back, but it's where we wanted to stay and for all 5 of us! Finally some pixie dust!

Took me a week but got dates I wanted at CBR free dining and standard room. I know I drove TA crazy and she thinks I am nuts, but I saved over $700. Keep trying everyone things do open up.

Stayed up late last night trying to switch POP to CBR with free dining in December, no luck, but this morning, there it was! Woo hoo! Dec. 15-22, CBR water view room, only $90 more than POP for the same dates (because we had upgraded the free quick service dining plan at POP to the regular dining plan). I am thrilled! I guess those TA-booked rooms just took a bit longer to be released back into the system than expected. I hope everyone still hoping to switch finds a room today!

If you really wanted that last night, you could try a split stay- either paying regular price for another room at CRB, or transferring to another resort. You wouldn't get the extra day of free dining, but you'd get an extra day at Disney!

Yeah... I always wanted to stay at the Contemporary. I could never quite justify it for the vacation, seeing that it was usually a few THOUSAND more.

So, I pulled up the one night this morning on Disney's system... $1100 for one night. Good Lord. I don't know how anyone can justify paying for that--that's just stupid expensive.

The other Disney resorts (moderate or better) are all $160 / night or more... I figure if I'm not getting a free dining credit with those options, I might as well transfer to the Hilton at Downtown Disney and pay for it in Hilton points.

I seem to remember someone looking for FD 9/25 at CBR... I remember this because that is when I'm going... Anyways- just wanted to give a heads up. There is a standard room available online 9/25-10/3 at CBR

May 17th I believe - mine is may 18th and I check in 11/15

The booklet regarding my reservation came yesterday and it said my date was 5/19 - so I may have bee off one day!

My TA (love her!) was on at 5am this morning and got us the free dining we were looking for! We weren't stressing too hard cause we knew she was working as fast and hard as she could, but we tried to keep up with the current news here while we waited.

I hope everyone else has good luck soon! Keep trying and don't give up!
