2014 planning dvd

Yeah my 2014 planning dvd came today. I got a 2013 in the mail a few weeks ago and was so disappointed that it wasn't 2014. Can't wait to watch it. Anyone seen it yet? Thoughts on how it compares? Now if only I would be selected to get a pin number in the mail I would really feel the magic.

Did they just automatically send you the 2014? We just got ours a few weeks ago too, I had assumed they were sending the new ones out already, clearly I was wrong. Just want to see if I need to reorder if they might just go ahead and send it.

Same here. Just got the 2013 one a few weeks ago. Curious to see what if any changes were made (the 2013 was not much different than the 2012 one).

Well I requested one at the first of the year and waited about 4 weeks. So I requested again thinking it wasn't goingto make it. Then the 2013 came about a week ago and the 2014 came today.

Woohoo! The 2014 one is out! Yay! Yay! Yay! I want a copy for my girls Easter baskets since Easter Sunday is the day are telling them about our trip. Now I know it'll be the 2014 one when I order it!

I don't understand why Disney is so "high tech" with Magic Bands, but it still needs to mail DVDs?! Wonder why the video is not on the website somewhere. Anybody know if they post it online?

Just watched it and it was great. IMO much better than the last few years.

We ordered ours about 2 weeks ago, and got it this week. It's the 2014 version.

I watched it this morning, and it caught my attention that they went out of their way to say that you should basically plan 2 days for MK and Epcot. It seemed more "in your face" than it had on previous DVDs.

The MM+ section was also interesting. FP+ was definitely billed as a "book your rides from home" service, and there was absolutely no mention of it being an onsite only perk. Not in the voice over, or in any small print on the screen. They went out of their way to say that the FP+ service was included with theme park admission for all guests.

Did they actually feature each resort again, or just do a quick description of each resort category like the 2012-13 DVD's?

I didn't pay as much attention to that section, but I thunk it was mostly an overview. They showed a picture of each resort in the category, but only showcased a few beyond that

It's likely about collecting information. You can fake an email if they requires that to watch online but you can't fake your mailing address. That would be my guess but they could at least send it out digitally via MDE to those booked onsite.

Yep. Within a week or so of ordering my DVD, I got snail mail with pin codes for free dining or percentage off rack rates.

I ordered my DVD in mid January, I received the 2013 one. Was a little disappointed as we already had that one. However a couple weeks went by and low and behold the new 2014 DVD came! I didn't reorder or anything. I really like the set up of the 2014 version, and I thought they went into more detail. Also I personally felt it was easier to navigate.
