Yes, I am! Last year, we booked our March 2013 Fantasy cruise on Oct 18, 2011. Any idea when the new schedule is coming???

We are eagerly awaiting our March break trip to WDW and our DCL Fantasy cruise! 120 days (but who's counting?). We're flying out of Buffalo. We'll be staying at BLT for 2 nights before the cruise, then a 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise, followed by 10 nights at BCV! Can't wait!!!

We are planning to take advantage of the awesome Premium Annual Pass deal through DVC, so we would like to make another trip in the summer. And/or maybe the fall..... Gotta get our money's worth, right?

I have moved on from not making it to R3 . Still sad but very hopeful for 2014! I'm super excited and nervous for those who are having their interviews this week.

I'm still hoping that you can make it to the Canadian Meet and Greet Lunch on November 17th! I'd love to finally meet you.

3rd surgery this year, but this is the "easy" one. I will be up and about by the weekend.

How is everyone doing with their Disney trip planning?
We have started to nail down our dates and airfare.
We are leaning towards WDW @ BC in April, and DCL Fantasy sometime in the Fall. I would also LOVE to do a few days at WDW for Christmas, but that is a long ways off, so we will see.

I know you are all still in the "what if" and "what did I do wrong" phase.
So I am just gonna say it : MOVE ON!
You will feel better if you do.
I have moved past that phase, and I feel much better now.

I am having a bit of a hard time reading about all the R3's and their interviews this week, so I am avoiding their thread and Twitter for the most part. But I still very much wish them well! They have all earned it.

I am just focusing on my trips coming up, and looking forward to starting the MP process all over again in September!

I would LOVE it if we could organize a trip before then! Maybe after the New Year we can discuss it and pick dates?

Amy, I'll be thinking of you during your surgery today! I hope all goes well for you and that you recover quickly. The same for your DS! My DD just had pink eye last week and it was awful trying to get her to take the eye drops!

I am also avoiding the R3 Thread. Every time I see something on Twitter about it I start feeling bad again, so I'm trying hard not to think about it.

I would LOVE to go to WDW again soon. Unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen until next August, but you never know!

We booked our April 2013 in January 2012, because the classics didn't come out until that late. Current dis rumor is that dates might not be released until January!

But I'm hoping for this year :yes: because we're trying to book our 10th Anniversary cruise for January 2014. Preferably an Eight night cruise out of Galveston

Sounds like a fabulous trip, I would love to enjoy Fantasyland! FYI, Barnstormer is one of my hubbys favorites also. When is your cruise & what destination are you going, we're cruising this Summer.

We are going at the beginning of April. We are on the Eastern Caribbean with the San Juan stop.

This will be our first DCL cruise. I know, bad Disney fan! DH didn't think the older ships were big enough, so he told DD (when she was 4) that we would go on a Disney cruise when they had a new ship. Guess what? She remembered!

We booked back in February and got a great rate for a concierge stateroom, so we jumped on it. I'm excited to book all of our stuff next month! We are hoping to get a cabana on Castaway Cay. I want to eat at Remy and then do the Palo brunch.


Which reminds me....I need to get a new ticker.

We bit the bullet and booked a last minute trip to WDW for the holidays!!! I am super excited about it. We are going to surprise my son with the news on Christmas Eve. Any creative ideas on ways to surprise him would be appreciated!!

We are arriving Dec 25 and coming home Jan 6. We lucked out and got DVC for most of it. Dec 25 - Jan 1 at AKV Jambo, Jan 3-6 at OKW. The nights in between will be at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista. I am still playing around with the ressie because we have to move from one Jambo room type to the other. I can't complain though - we really lucked out getting DVC rooms over the holidays!!

I am super excited, however my Mom is MAD

You could get one of the DISigners (Creative Designs forum) to do a personalized "you're going to WDW" letter then get it made into a puzzle on zazzle and give it to the kiddo as a Christmas gift.

Thanks for the idea - I will take a look at that!

My son is her only grandchild and we always spend Xmas day with my parents. The only time we were in WDW for Xmas, they were with us. She is passive aggressive with her anger, but I can tell she is ticked. She is just really disappointed

Hope your surgery went well and that DS is feeling better soon! We're currently waiting on DW's 2013-14 school schedule to be released along with those 2014 DCL itineraries. Once we have those in hand, we can start the planning in earnest!

hope you are all doing well. hoping this snowstorm we have now will be uneventful and looking forward to the weekend which is supposed to be sunny and a little warmer.

I've been checking DCL website everyday since October 1st. So I'm getting a bit antsy, partially because we're planning "the big one" cruise for January 2014 (our 10th anniversary vacation.)

Do you open any presents on xmas eve?? What if you wrapped his suitcase?

I will just make sure we spend lots of time with her till then. The hardest part will be trying to explain the DS why we are having a fake tree this year without him getting suspicious. He knows I hate artificial trees at my house. I need the smell of spruce and needles everywhere!!

That is a great idea about the suitcase!

DS loves basketball and his favorite team is the
Heat (BOO - we tried to convince him otherwise to no avail). The Heat are playing the magic on NY eve in Orlando, so we were thinking of getting him to open some new trading pins, then a jersey and tickets to the game then see how long it takes him to figure it out. Maybe we should add the suitcase as the final piece in case he doesn't get it?

Your trip sounds amazing! I am so excited for you! I love that you are making it a surprise! I've always wanted to try that, but I just couldn't keep it to myself.

I totally feel your pain about disappointing your mom. I have to psych myself up for weeks in order to break the news to my mom every time we go to Disney because she thinks it's a HUGE waste of money. Especially since we go over and over and over again.... At least your parents share your love of Disney!

Today I am really struggling with people who are down on Disney. Three of my coworkers went to WDW this past summer, and all are less than impressed. One complained how hot and miserable it was, another said, "Been there, done that, never have to go back!" and the other is trying to get a free trip from Disney because his DW was bitten by bed bugs.

So here I am doing a daily countdown to our next trip (119 days!) - I am SO excited I can barely stand it! And I have to keep it to myself, for fear of being ridiculed for being so stupid (in their minds). I know you all have to face the same types of negativity, and usually I don't care. Today, it's just getting to me more than usual.

I may consider taking DD out of school that whole week and heading down to WDW before Memorial Day crowds hit.

My surgery went OK. I am home, resting in bed. LOVING Lortab right now

Unfortunately, he couldn't finish the surgery. He found a hole in my uterus. And naturally he told hubby while I was in recovery, hubby didn't ask any questions! So, I have a call in to his office to speak to him today about that. We had discussed the possibility of a hysterectomy before. And I have a strong feeling that is where I am headed. I want to wait until January though, if possible. I don't want to be recovering during the holidays. (sorry if this is TMI!)

So, I suppose it's probably a good thing that I didn't make the panel this year. Someone on here said that everything happens for a reason, and this time I think you are right!

Sorry to hear what a rough time you are having, Amy. You are right, things happen for a reason. So, you have to get yourself healthy (again) in 2013, in order to join the 2014 Moms Panel! It's already in the plans!
