Hello, my Grand friends! I've been out of town for a couple weeks, visiting DD in DC. Been back a week or so, but had a lot of things to catch up on at home.

I hope you have all been enjoying your planning and/or trips. I'll try to catch up on everything in the next few days.

ferrentinos I agree.. This is a great forum to ask all kids of questions..(see my post below..) Friendly and informative! Your trip is not to far away...hope the time flies..just until it gets here!! BTW no help from me on F&G..Haven't been in a few years...as for SWW..love to know what you have planned (this is our first SWW..which was just coincidental to our trip) ... I will be happy to come back and share our thoghts experiences after our trip..which is less than 30 days away!!

~ Star Wars events questions... has anyone planned the dinner at H&V or the Sci Fi breakfast...we have the breakfast planned.. would love some feed back from my fellow GF fans..Read a good breakfast review on Kenny the Pirate's site...but have read some other mixed reviews...

Sorry I've been M.I.A. Still no trip planned just wishful thinking....Like right now I'm pretending I'm in the RPC lounge sipping an adult beverage listening to the orchestra......But I am planning a day in NYC with some GF friends( she knows who she is)

Hi all! 66 days away from our first stay at SL and I'm preparing right now for our first trip to SWW and F&G in 5 days! Just curious if anyone here has been to F&G this year and has any tips/suggestions about food booths to try! We love sampling new foods so we are planning to buy lots of little things and sharing them.

I know that this is OT but this board has been so welcoming and friendly , I thought that maybe some of you would have some thoughts! Thanks!!

I can't help with F&W this year, but wanted to say have a great trip.....and your SL trip will be here before you know it .

This is our first SWW as well! We are going with the Feel the Force package on May 17th! A week from today!! AHHH!!! I'm super excited for it! We are booked for the H&V dinner so I'll be happy to report back with how it went. Looks fun!!! And a much easier way to meet the characters! I wish we were doing the breakfast but we can't get it! That's ok.. not complaining! Just so happy to experience SWW!

I can't help with F&W this year, but wanted to say have a great trip.....and your SL trip will be here before you know it .

Also, trying out AKL CL for the first time - which is also really exciting! But I'd lie if I said I wasn't wishing just a little bit that we were trying GF SL on this trip - but waiting 66 days isn't that much longer!!!

What a great Mother's Day/birthday trip. May is a great time to go and F&G is wonderful. AKL CL is on our list to try. We love AKL and I have read nothing but great things about CL, so I'm looking forward to trying it on one of our next trips. I'm sure you'll have a great time .

Hi I have a 2 night stay at GFV 1 bedroom during our MK portion of the trip. What is best room location to have? Is corner room better here? We have standard view. I was going to do online check in here and didn't know what to select for ideal room/view /location Thanks!

Hi everyone! Just booked 9/22-26 theme park view at the Grand Floridian. It will just be me and the hubby. Many trips to WDW but first time staying here. Any tips on special things around the resort we should do? And how far out should I call to request a king bed or is that how that works?

The only negative has been the parks seem busier than normal this time of year and the monorail has been standing room only, irrespective of time of day, when it reaches the GF. I've just caught taxis instead to get to Epcot

I cannot fault the GF at all, my room was even ready when I checked in at 10.30 am

How great that your room was ready at check in. Always a plus. The RPC sounds delightful. Enjoy the rest of your stay.


As for me we have 73 days left and I am sooooo excited!!!

OT: Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day Weekend. Mine was fantastic!
My husband received his degree over the weekend with highest honors so I'm very proud of him. He has worked so hard doing school and work and everything else he does for us. He's awesome!
