No posting for the DDD corral placement for the 10k?

Someone who I was talking to on Twitter apparently emailed RunDisney and they said they won't be releasing the corral info for the 10k portion for the DDD runners.

This doesn't make much sense to me since they all ready released the regular 10k corrals why not just release the rest of the DDD corrals while your at it?

I'm more annoyed because I all ready know I'm going to be starting at least one or two corrals back from a couple of friends and then playing catch up. If we were being told our corrals I could properly adjust my timing on my shorter runs to get ready for playing catch up depending on how long of a gap between they leave and when I leave there is. But with me not knowing when I start there is no real way to train for this other than to play guessing games.

LOL - awesome! I am doing Avengers too - and that will be DHs first Half EVER! I'm so proud of him - he's come a long way - from "why do you run?" to "I think I can do a Half with you". Bwahaha we have a convert!

Corral placements were posted for the 10K. This is new, I believe. I don't recall them posting the corral placement for the 10K before, but for those of you interested:

I will work on getting this added to the runner list this evening, and if you are interested in having your corral listed for that as well, please let me know!

I'm running the DDD too! This will be my first C2C as well after running my first half in WDW in Jan. This is only the 2nd time I will have been to DL/DCA, I'm so excited!!!! The last time I was there Carsland wasn't even on the drawing boards.

I still can't imagine how some of ya'll do Goofy (or Dopey for that matter)! I haven't been able to muster myself up to a full marathon quite yet, but I suppose some people out there wonder how some of us run the 'shorter' challenges like Dumbo (and now Pixie Dust). Eek. But go you!

Hopefully you enjoy all the changes to Disney California Adventure. Cars Land was definitely a huge part of it, but not all. I'm a little biased, but it's pretty awesome! I'm sure Disneyland has changed a lot as well since you're last visit to the Resort.

Will you have plenty of park play time outside of running?

Well that's just dumb. I could understand not releasing them if they didn't release the regular 10K runners as well but to put one of them out there and not the other is just a headscratcher.

I'm running the half, in corral G.

I got my coast-to-coast in January after running Dopey+Tinker Bell, so this will be a rare single-medal weekend for me. I'm looking forward to seeing how that makes me feel. I've never *not* done a challenge when it's been offered, so this will be a good experiment to see if I can mentally handle not getting all of the available medals. LOL.

I would be possibly be in for a meetup on Friday, depending on the time.

Doing 10K and 5K.

DD9 is doing the 5K with me and we will be dressed as Lilo (me) and Stitch (her). I'm sure we won't be the only L&S pair-especially given the medal- but DD is a HUGE Stitch fan. But if you see a Mother/Daughter L&S pair it might be us (ps-I look nothing like Lilo...but will be wearing a Ti Leaf skirt). Getting excited!

P.S. If anybody gets stopped by a CM in DCA named Jessica at all to talk about runDisney, it'll probably be me. I cannot let anyone wearing anything runDisney related come into my stores without bringing it up with them - pins, lanyards, shirts, shoes, you name it. Race weekend or any other time of the year, lol.

Unfortunately I can't take all the credit It was actually Dad's idea to add the 'Down Under' reference to the Alice tops. I can't wait to wear them with all the accessories I'm busily preparing!

Me and my sis are in Corral H with the other Happy Hoofers! Many H Corral members from the DDD group from FB are wearing a purple bracelet or band on our left wrists to try and ID each other.

We're not running the 5K but for the 10K were dressed as clowns with a fireman theme for "Dumbo Bucket Brigade." For the Half sis is the stork from Dumbo and I'm the "We Wants The Redhead!" character from PoC.

Alright! To anyone interested in a Friday (8/29) meet up at Trader Sam's, what time frame are you interested in?

At this point I unfortunately wouldn't be able to make it as I got scheduled a night shift in DCA, but I'll try to get it switched around. But I'll probably be stopping by the Expo that morning if anyone will be around.
