Ooh, I do like the refreshed cabanas. The fruit and water are always nice. But, are they various amenities on the fridge top? I don't recall them with the pre-hurricane cabana days. We must book one for our May stay!

Just got the confirmation e-mail for my first CL stay! The new AP rate made Sugarloaf $7 more per night than my outer building garden view room on the general public discount. How could I not switch!?!

Just wanted to pop back in and say thank you for the advice on balconies! We're so excited. My mom has always wanted to stay here, and I'm so happy I can make it happen.

Got home last night and very much missing Disney .....but your pics are a great pick me up! Enjoy your time at the GF .

On top of the fridge was condiments if you ordered food and paper cups for drinks. Also containers of sunscreen, after sun lotion and face sunscreen.

I wanted to mention this morning the Christmas garland is up at Magic Kingdom. Didn’t get a picture because I was so surprised! MKday tomorrow so I’ll post some after. You can smell the gingerbread cooking in the GF main lobby and Contemporary has their house half up.

DH & I will be checking into the Grand next Friday (it's a work conference for DH or we'd never be able to afford it) & are sooo excited! Our usual resort is the BWI, we love the convenience of walking to 2 parks & I've read here that getting to Epcot (our favorite) from GF isn't so easy. So I know you can walk from the GF to the Poly & from the Poly to the TTC but about how long would it take to walk to the TTC (to catch the Epcot monorail) from the GF? We're good, fast walkers & prefer walking to any other mode of transportation (even at home). Thanks guys!!! Again, we are sooooo excited to be staying at the Grand

There are 4 full amenities cabanas at the Beach Pool and several “premium” seating chairs/couches around the Beach, Courtyard and Kids Splash areas. I never inquired about the premium seating so no idea of the cost.
